Franklin Armory Sues ATF Over ‘Multiple Meritless ATF Actions and Inactions’

From Franklin Armory . . . Franklin Armory, Inc., a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of firearms and accessories, in conjunction with the Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition, Inc. Frankin Armory Responds to the ATF’s Reformation Ruling

See our earlier post regarding the ATF’s ruling as to the legal status of Franklin Armory’s Reformation here. The federal gun regulators have decreed that the Reformation, with its straight grooves, is something called a GCA/SBS…a short-barreled shotgun regulated under the Gun Control Act rather than the National Firearms Act.

BREAKING: ATF Declares the Franklin Armory Reformation a GCA/SBS Shotgun, Halts All Retail Sales

See some our earlier posts on the Franklin Armory Reformation here, here, and here. While the Reformation may look like a short barrel rifle, it isn’t. New From Franklin Armory: Reformation Non-NFA SBR-like Thing

In a somewhat vague teaser of a press release, Franklin Armory is announcing the Reformation. It’s a non-NFA line of “NRS firearms,” whatever those are (“Not a Rifle or Shotgun” is my guess), with an 11.5″ barrel and an actual buttstock. But it isn’t an SBR. And it isn’t a shotgun. Is it a .410 … Read more
