The AR-30 has been around for a while, but now they’ve improved it. And the improvements are actually improvements, not just incremental updates. Like a full length rail for additional optics and gubbins, side rails for your IR designator and a redesigned bolt. I HATE the redesigned bolt. It’s tough to cycle the action without the golf ball on the end. In short, it sucks. Almost as much as the craptacular trigger shoe, which still threatens to slice my finger open on its jagged and rough edge. Still, the rifle is amazing and I would gladly hand them all my money for one, IF they fixed those two minor gripes. Other than that, excellent.

  1. Not only no golf ball, but a rectangular shaft? Has anyone ever even heard of ergonomics at that company? Watched a slo-mo vid of a shooter rapidly cycling a bolt-action? People new better 100 years ago. Tactifool design ethos stupidity at it’s finest.

Who cares if it’s sub-MOA? If you can’t even smoothly cycle the action, they should be paying you just to test the damn thing.

Next update will include their equilateral triangle buttstock, and the pointy part goes against your shoulder.
