  1. Posted over two hours ago and no comments? Okay, I’ll do it – press release makes no mention of the chambering offered, or is it winner’s choice?

  2. I’ve seen news reports on these, but I haven’t seen one in the wild or even for sale on line.

  3. Is this an ad? The HMR is not news. It’s been out for a while. TTAG reported on it at SHOT 2017 and even promised a full review…hmmm

    • We’re reposting more press releases these days (typically on the half hour, as they’re in addition to normal content, not in any way replacing full posts) as the whole “new from so-and-so” genre was a bit of an info gap ’round these here parts. They’ll typically have very brief commentary (sometimes straight factual without opinion like this one, sometimes we may view it in a positive light, and sometimes our opinion ain’t so positive: example 1, example 2.) before a directly copied-and-pasted press release.

You’re right, though, looks like Tyler posted about the HMR during SHOT Show. The press release arrived in my e-mail today and listed it along with the BMP as new products. Didn’t recall that we had already seen one of ’em!

    • I’ll buy great price:performance, wherever it comes from. I’m glad to see another offering in factory chassis rifles and eagerly await reviews/comps with competitors.
