Gun Review: Primary Weapons Systems T3 Summit Rifle

SHOT Show 2011: Primary Weapons Systems introduces its T3 Summit Rifle, a 10/22-based, .22 LR rifle with a really slick toggle action (think biathlon gun). It is one of the coolest, sexiest looking rifles anywhere with its carbon fiber tension barrel and sculpted, laminated stock. It’s lightweight, lights out accurate, and whisper quiet when suppressed. Yet, fast forward to a couple months ago and I picked up serial number 495 fresh off the production line. Seriously, WTF? This thing is freaking sweet. PWS should sell that many every month! New From PWS: MK212SD Suppressed-Only AR-10

Lindsey from Primary Weapons Systems gives us another rundown of one of PWS’s new products for 2015. Previously it was their GLOCK EDS, and this time around it’s a new rifle in their MK2 series called the MK212SD. As you’d expect from anything with “SD” at the end of its title, this rifle is designed to be run suppressed. In fact, the gas piston system is tuned such that it requires a silencer to cycle properly. What this means is less gas and softer cycling for a big reduction in recoil, and it’s likely a bit quieter and cleaner to boot. More details and photos follow . . .

Got Fireball? PWS MK-107 AR Pistol Arrives For Testing

As many of you will no doubt recall, I’ve been very skeptical of ‘pistols’ based on military autoloading rifles. I’ve consigned several of them to the Deepest Depths Of Uselessness abyss and many of you have vigorously exercized your God-given right to disagree with me. Loudly. Primary Weapon Systems has just loaned us a very posh MK107 AR pistol for testing, and as I play with this $1900 specialty firearm, I can feel my curmudgeonly skepticism starting to erode. If I’m ever going to change my mind about MSR-based pistols, this Wylde-chambered piston gun will be what does it . . .
