SHOT Show Range Day: Laugo Alien Pistol . . . Holy Crap [VIDEO]

https://youtu.be/4P-AWVgz7kg   So the Laugo Alien, being imported and sold by Lancer Systems, is the best handgun I have ever shot. Unfortunately the first 500 Signature Edition guns are $5,000, so I’m pretty much crushed. The Laugo Alien is the flattest, smoothest, fastest shooting 9mm out there. Machining, fit, finish, and ergonomics are top notch, … Read more

SHOT Show: Lancer Systems Aerial Interdiction Rifle and Modular Handguard

I happen to like Lancer Systems a lot. They make my favorite AR mags on the market. I SBR’d their lower because I liked it so much. I run their carbon fiber handguard and fixed stock on another gun, and have a very high opinion of their complete AR-15 and AR-10 rifles. But these new … Read more

Gun Review: Lancer Systems L30 Heavy Metal Rifle

instagram_L30

Lancer Systems, manufacturer of the best 5.56 and 7.62 AR magazines on the market, was kind enough to loan me a L30 Heavy Metal rifle for use in my .308 Muzzle Brake Test. Although I had already shot L30s in all of the available configurations, even winning a gun writer competition with one, I still couldn’t bring myself to use this loaner solely for recoil sled testing. So, I put it through the normal review process as well . . .

Lancer Systems Media Event — Magazine-related Shenanigans

Lancer Media Day 2015

In late September, Lancer Systems hosted a media event to give some gun writers a hands-on experience with its product line. I posted a recap of the 2-day shindig and what I learned about the company and its business units here, and if you didn’t catch that I’d definitely say it’s worth a glance (not that I’m biased or anything). This is the first post of what I expect will be two follow-ups, and it’s going to concentrate on Lancer’s magazine-related technology and performance. Back From Lancer Systems’ Media Days 2015

Lancer_VIR_Tower

Lancer Systems invited a handful of gun writers to join them at Virginia International Raceway to learn about the company and put its products through the paces. Full disclosure: I joined in part because I’m a fan of the firearms-related Lancer products that I had used thus far and I’m surprised they don’t have more traction in the market. Additionally, I also wanted to find out a lot more about Lancer’s other business units and, hey, who could turn down the opportunity to shoot at one of the nicest outdoor range facilities in the country? A few posts will come out of this trip, so stay tuned, but first I’ll take you through a run-down of Lancer Systems as a company and share some of the 2-day experience. . .

New From Lancer: L7AWM .308 Magazines, Adaptive Magwells, Carbon Fiber Sexiness

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIP9wBmgXj4

If there’s anyone making great products that don’t get enough attention, it’s probably Lancer Systems. Their L5AWM series of AR-15 magazines are, unquestionably, my favorite AR mags on the market. Now they have an even more advanced design for .308. Their carbon fiber handguards are pure lightweight sexiness, and holy hell do they have a lot of options. If only I had known about Lancer’s single ring scope mount I wouldn’t be running a much larger, heavier, 2-ring unit on my 1-4x Burris . . .
