Maxim Defense has announced a new lineup of firearms, including the SDX RFLX Pistol and SBR, designed for ultimate suppression. With an over-the-barrel style suppressor and the already precision manufacturing processes that Maxim Defense brings to the table, the SDX RFLX is both stout and silent.

The Maxim Defense SDX RFLX pistols (MSRP $3,695) and SBRs (MSRP $3,695) are chambered in 300 BLK with equivalent barrel lengths of 8.5”. You have colorway options of Arid and Black with your choice of either an SBA5 or Gen6 CQB pistol brace (for the pistols), or a Magpul CTR or Gen7 CQB stock (for the SBRs).

At least they kept the prices the same as opposed to so many other situations where the SBR version is $1000+ more than the pistol.
Would be a bit harder to justify that now so see what happens with the others I guess. Suppressor prices will be interesting after a year or two if the legal situation remains unchanged or improves though.
I never really understood the SBR thing and I sort of assumed that it was because they expected the SBR to be an agency purchase as opposed to a private purchase.
IOW, they figured they could fleece the taxpayer for an extra G on the SBR purchased by LE.
Milspec premium pricing……..well worked for an inexpensive soil vendor for a while.
