Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has proven herself a big voice for gun rights for everyday Americans, even after arriving in Washington. She’s “small but mighty,” according to one of her Congressional peers. And the gun-toting Congresswoman will bring her unbridled enthusiasm for guns and gun ownership to Quincy, Illinois at a “Defend the Second Amendment” rally this Saturday, April 30th.
Boebert, a staunch conservative defender of gun rights, has made herself a thorn in the side of gun haters and the Dems who control the US House. Even before she arrived to take her oath of office, she publicly announced she planned to bring her GAT.
Let me tell you why I WILL carry my Glock to Congress.
Government does NOT get to tell me or my constituents how we are allowed to keep our families safe.
I promise to always stand strong for our 2nd Amendment rights.https://t.co/E75tYpdN4B pic.twitter.com/qg7QGenrNo

Speaker Nancy Pelosi initially tried to block the 5′, 100-pound Boebert from bringing her little friend, but eventually backed down. The political hack DC police chief took a shot at her as well, referring to her dismissively as “That congresswoman, whoever it is….”
Even Boebert’s Christmas card photo causes snowflakes to screech before melting down.
Congresswoman Boebert will appear in Quincy, Illinois on Saturday for a “Defend the Second Amendment” rally. Lord knows Illinois could use some strong pro-2A rallies, especially with the passage of a gun ban in the dead of night in the last minutes of the spring session earlier this month.
The event will take place at the Holiday Inn from 1-3pm. It’s free and open to the public. Also appearing with Congresswoman Boebert will be Illinois Congresswoman Mary Miller, another aggressively pro-gun member of Congress.
