Who’s Going to Tell David Hogg That Guns Save Lives? [GRAPHIC IMAGE]

David Hogg's Gasping For Relevance

David Hogg desperately wants his fifteen minutes of fame to continue. When Senator Marco Rubio tweeted a religious message last Friday, December 7th, the media’s favorite anti-gun teen just couldn’t help himself. Furiously tapping away at his keyboard, Hogg tweeted back “Who is going to be the one to tell Marco Rubio that Bible verses don’t stop kids from getting shot?”

Hogg quickly emerged as a darling of the mainstream media and the Civilian Disarmament Industrial Complex after the Parkland shooting. Purely by coincidence.

As Mr. Hogg failed to gain acceptance at a number of colleges to which he applied, he’s apparently been relegated to full-time work trying to extend his relevance. Gasping for the oxygen of publicity, if you will. Attacking President Trump only goes so far, so he’s sticking with the “gun violence” racket.

The bigger question for David Hogg and his “March for Our Lives” followers: Who will tell them that gun-free zones don’t stop kids – or anyone else – from getting shot?

Take this recent double-homicide scene in Chicago as an example. Note the Illinois-specific “gun-free zone” sign on the business’s front door.

Here’s a closer shot.

For some reason, the sign did nothing to stop two teens from storming in with guns to rob the place. Government policies and gun control laws protected no one in the store. After all, it’s good guys with guns that stop bad people with evil in their hearts. Not gun control laws.

Fortunately a good guy was there, with his gun. As the image above reveals, an armed store clerk defended himself. He shot two would-be robbers probably saving his own life and possibly those of other innocents in the store.

From the Chicago Tribune:

Two would-be robbers who were fatally shot at a liquor store in the Gresham neighborhood Saturday night have been identified as a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, authorities said.

Keshawn Marzette, 15, of the 8300 block of South Throop Street, and William Larson, 17, of the same address, were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Once more, a good guy with a gun stops violent crime and saves innocent lives. Not a silly, useless sign or another gun control law.

Who’s going to be the one to tell David Hogg?
