Its official: the panic buying has begun. With the threat of an assault weapons ban and movement on the U.N. arms treaty, gun owners are stocking up on things that they’re concerned will be banned shortly. One of my sources in the firearms retail world says that his distributor has sold over 3,000 Surefire High Capacity Magazines since Tuesday’s election. Asked what the normal volume for those items are, he replied that, “We hardly sell them at all.” No doubt due to the rather high price tag.
