OK, we know that cops were responding to a call of a man with a rifle at Cal State San Marcos. “Campus police said they located the man shortly after 9 a.m.,” fox5sandiego.com reports. “He was carrying an umbrella, not a weapon. But what up with all the rifle pointing? Especially as the man in question was a professor who called himself in. Strategically, this is nuts.
