Worcester Buy-Back Aims at the Big Guns

From the photo, it’s hard to tell exactly what’s happening in Worcester, Mass. Do they like their guns really big or their politicians really small? Judging by Massachusetts’ track record, the latter seems the safer bet. As in all things, it’s a matter of perspective. That’s State Rep. Jim O’Day announcing that the Wegman’s grocery store chain will support their annual gun buy-back program. But don’t jump up and down figuring you’ve just found a great way to pay for Christmas this year. Unless you have a bunch of broken-ass POS’s taking up safe space, it won’t be worth your time. “The value of the gift card is higher depending on the type of gun they hand in: long guns net $25; handguns net $50 and semi-automatic guns net $75.” Twenty-five bucks for a 10/22? Barely pays for the gas to get there.
