Aside from the fact that both the U.S. and the Eurozone are arming “rebels” who could easily turn out to be even less friendly to U.S. interests than the Assad regime, does it strike anyone as ironic that the President who chided American gun owners for being wary of their own government is now putting guns into the hands of Syrians attempting the violent overthrow of their country’s official, UN-recognized government?
