So there I was cruising the gun counter at Bass Pro Shops in Foxboro Mass. Dead ahead: a woman of a certain age semi-fondling a stainless Ruger SP101 3″. I just had to sing the gun’s praises—and pass out a few business cards. When the potential customer said something about preferring the look of a Smith, I nodded sagely and Googled intensely. When I turned the iPhone towards the guy behind the counter, showing him the previously posted jpeg of Gemini Customs’ Ruger SP101, he said “wow.” A genuine pause n’ wow. And here’s some good news . . .
I’m talking to Mark about making this combo a limited edition TTAG exclusive. He has eight sets of the grips left. So . . . you provide the SP101 and he’ll do the rest, with a discreet marking about the revolver’s limited edition-ness to be decided later.
