According to MR’s presser the company “made the decision to offer muzzle brake parts separately in an effort to reduce consumer costs involved in mailing their Desert Eagle barrels to the factory to add the muzzle brake.” Money’s an issue? “MSRP on the Desert Eagle Muzzle Brakes range from $1772 to $2186 depending on the finish and caliber.” Holy holed engine block Batman! That’s more than the cost of the gun! Still, it should make the Deagle WAY more practical . . .
