A story TTAG reported back in April. Regardless, this should have been a defensive gun use (DGU). What better way to introduce impressionable comic book fans (if such a thing exists) to the importance of Americans’ natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms than to have Archie taking out an assassin with a legally-owned firearm? Maybe have the gay candidate defend himself? But then if Archie had lived, we’d have had to live with him. I’m not so sure if that would have been a desirable outcome. Just sayin’ . . .
