The new council is currently made up of 79 members from the creative community, including Steve Carrell, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Lawrence.” Before you point out that Hollywood actors have armed bodyguards, I’d like to point out that . . .
there’s no need for a 50’s-style Congressional Communist witch hunt. The “creative community” churns out extremely effective pro-gun movies in their thousands. Movies, video games and books (stories printed on paper) where good guys with guns defeat bad guys with guns, RPGs, tanks, helicopters and nuclear bombs. The creative community’s contribution to the pro-gun movement is priceless.
If pampered creatives living in La-La Land and The Big Apple are a tad hypocritical in their gun politics, well, we can cut them some slack.
