ATF Death Watch 143: Why It Matters

The following’s a brief message from the man who feeds me links on the ATF’s Operation Fast and Furious (F&F) and other issues relating to U.S. Border Security and the illicit drug trade destroying the rule of law south of the border.

“I think we and all us covering this need to keep pointing out that one of the primary reasons the drug cartels and gangs run rampant is that the Mexican people have been disarmed. They lost their remaining RKBA [Right to Keep and Bear Arms] in the late 60’s and early 70’s, under the extremely corrupt PRI governments . . .

To obtain a firearm and ammo legally is almost impossible for the Mexican people. Numerous instances of drug gangs over running towns and villages throughout Mexico. But then if the Mexican people were able to fight back against the drug gangs, what if they decided to take on corruption next?

On the F&F links, more needs to be brought out on the hundreds or possible more Mexican citizens killed. Press the Mexican government for more details on that.

Also, over the last couple years since F&F surfaced, the Mexican government has suppressed details on firearms recovered.  Typical reports before then would include make, model and serial number.

Strings on U.S. aid money? Any future “strings” on U.S. aid money should include restoration of Human Rights and RKBA to the people of Mexico.”
