The Solis is an Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster using Safariland’s ALS (Automatic Locking System) retention system. The ALS is solid and intuitive. It’s the system I’ve used on my duty holster for probably close to 10 years now. The holster is made from SafariSeven, which is a proprietary Dupont nylon blend that’s extremely tough, and withstands extremes of heat and cold. As an added bonus, it won’t mar your gun’s finish. The Solis has an open muzzle design that allows for easy cleaning and will accommodate a threaded barrel. The Solis will also accommodate a variety of optics and lights.
