“I learned that a law enforcement injury prevention, tactical fitness and wellness class was given a thumbs down for any officer from a large department because ‘fit cops don’t stop bullets.’ Apparently poor fitness, obesity, stress, substance abuse, chronic fatigue, poor nutrition and disease are acceptable as long as they pay their union dues.
