Gun grabbers are going to ground. Recognizing that they’ve lost the initiative, they’re keeping it on the DL, masking their disarmament mission with terms like “common sense” and “loophole.” The trend applies to both local gun control advocates and those working on an international scale. To wit: the “let’s start the conversation” video above, which reminds me of nothing so much as the cult come-ons that plagued the airwaves back in the day. Over at their main site (look for the asterisks for the orgs behind the campaign), Control Arms is “calling for a bulletproof international Arms Trade Treaty.” See what they did there? What they really, really want: a U.N. Arms Treaty that disarms citizens, an agreement that can’t be knee-capped by people who value their gun rights. Which raises the question, what does a gun mean to you?
