Choosing a firearms for a specific task is relatively easy. Deciding the precise task you need the firearm for isn’t. For example, if you think you might need a trunk gun to fight your way home after an EMP, you want something small and portable that holds a lot of rounds. Something like an AR pistol with a SB Tactical brace in .300 Blackout. If you think you might break down in a bad neighborhood or on the side of a lonesome highway, a shotgun would be best for discouraging rapacious locals or lawless highwaymen.
