“You’re never going to learn new skills in the middle of a gunfight.” Which is another way of saying, you have to practice, prepare, and think about what would make you draw your gun before you have to draw your gun. The “correct” answer: an imminent threat of death or imminent bodily harm. Short of that, drawing — let along firing — your weapon can and probably lead to a world of legal and financial consequences that no one would ever want. Have you prepared? Have you thought about it?
