Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s Teenage Gun Control Advocates Are Idiots

TTAG writer Chris Heuss made an excellent point at the end of his editorial “Gun Violence” in Perspective. “You don’t have to be a native American, Holocaust victim or defenseless child listening to the sound of your classmates being murdered to know that disarming Americans doesn’t prevent wholesale injury and death. It invites it.” I refer specifically . . .

to the bit about a child listening to the sounds of mass murder, wondering if he or she will live to see out the day, concluding that civilian disarmament is a bad idea.

If you and people you care about are defenseless in the face of an imminent credible threat of a violent death you want someone to stop that threat. You must know that a good guy (or two or more) with a gun is your best hope to stop a bad guy (or two or more) with a gun. Or guns. Knives? Whatever.

You must wish someone right there, say, a teacher or administrator had a firearm to stop the threat. Other than being armed personally, it would be ideal, really. I mean, that’s just common sense, right? Obvious to anyone except . . .

an idiot.

Sorry students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. If you think that gun control would have stopped Nikolas Cruz’s homicidal attack you’re not using the brain God and your parents gave you. If you think gun control will stop future Nikolas Cruz’s from attacking other innocent people, school children included, you’re an idiot.

If I was being charitable, I’d call you naive and deluded. But I don’t see any reason to cut you any slack.

You’re a willingly pawn of people who want to disarm the American public to further their insane dream of a statist utopia. A dream that always turn into the nightmare of government sponsored mass murder.

No really. Do the words “Wounded Knee” or “The Holocaust” mean anything to you? In fact, do you have the faintest clue why Americans have a Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms? A right that includes “assault weapons”?

I don’t think you do. I don’t think you’re educated.

As an educated person, someone with a basic understanding of past history and current events, I think anyone who demands that the government remove their civil rights is a moron.

Actually, that’s not quite it . . .

Anyone who agitates for the degradation and destruction of Americans’ natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms is a dangerous fool. Someone who should be constantly and publicly encouraged to STFU — until and unless they learn how to use fact-based rational thinking to form an opinion.

And to those who lionize and exploit these idiotic teenagers to push for gun control legislation, I have a simple request: FOAD. Of natural causes. After realizing the error of your ways. And spending the rest of your life worked to restore the freedom you worked so assiduously, so cynically to destroy.

Meanwhile, don’t ask me to respect the Marjory Stoneman Douglas’ teenagers’ idiocy because they’re survivors of mass murderer. As a Jew so am I, on a scale Parkland’s teenage anti-gun rights agitators can’t even begin to imagine. Apparently.

As a Jew I say never again. And thank the Founding Fathers for enshrining my right to keep and bear arms. Even as I work to protect that right from idiots who somehow got it into their head that they’re doing me and other law-abiding citizens a favor by restricting Americans’ firearms freedom.

News flash: you’re not. Now go and get yourself a proper education. One way or another, I’m paying for it.
