DeSantis Gunhide Question of the Day: Gun Rights…Reasons To Be Cheerful (Part 1)?

TTAG has been railing against “gun buybacks” since the site began. At best, they’re security theater; a meaningless gesture designed to allow politicians and community leaders to convince gun muggles they’re doing something about “gun violence.” At worst, they create a black market for stolen guns and destroy evidence that could be used to convict dangerous criminals.

So I’m delighted that the planned Ohio “gun buyback” above failed to raise enough cash to enable its realization. It’s an indication that this particular type of anti-gun agitprop may have peaked. While Hillary Clinton looms large on the anti-gun rights horizon, let’s be positive for a moment. What recent pro-gun development has given you reason to be cheerful?
