In the lead-up to SHOT Show 2019, CZ-USA has begun their “Monday Morning Sneak Peeks” campaign. This provides a glimpse — ahead of official press releases and full details — into new products they’ll be releasing during the next year. We at TTAG will do our level best to get y’all additional photos and info each week (ideally on Mondays) as they release new sneak peeks.

As we weren’t previously sharing these posts here on TTAG, though, let’s catch up on the past few new products that CZ-USA has shown on their Instagram page.

CZ’s 455 rimfire rifle series is no more (review of my Tacticool Suppressor Ready here). It has been replaced by the 457 seen above and below.

Changes to the 457 include a push-to-fire safety lever, a shorter, slab-sided, lighter weight action, reduced bolt throw for more scope clearance, fully adjustable trigger, sculpted bottom metal, nitride finish, and a lighter weight firing pin. Retained are the 455s interchangeable barrel system and magazine compatibility.

The CZ 457 will be available in many barrel and stock configurations chambered for .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 HMR.

I’m excited to test out the 457 but afraid it’ll convince me to upgrade my 455 that I love so much. Definitely money I don’t need to spend, but the shorter bolt throw, adjustable trigger, and lighter action all sound fairly compelling.

Next up is this beauty from the lead photo. That’s CZ’s upcoming 527 MTR (Match Target Rifle). It will be available chambered in .223 or 6.5 Grendel with a heavy, threaded barrel and a target-style walnut stock.

“With a fully adjustable trigger borrowed from the 557, it can be tuned down to incredibly light pull weights, and creep and overtravel can be set to the shooter’s preference.”

We’ll try to get our hands on more photos of this gorgeous 527 MTR soon.

Finally, there’s a brand new, semi-auto shotgun in the CZ-USA stable. This is the 1012 and it’s designed to run everything from light target loads up to the stoutest 3″ magnums. Five finish options will be available, all in 12 gauge.

Bronze.

Grey.

Black with walnut stock. I believe there’s also a black with black synthetic stock planned.

Camo.

That’s it for now! Stay tuned next week for more.
