We’re too hung over from a tryptophan-induced coma to engage in much serious Googling, but we’re getting lots of reports of unsatisfied shoppers who tried and failed to take advantage of Black Friday deals at internet mega-retailer Bud’s Gun Shop. Here’s a representative email rant we received:
I know that your website is all about getting the right information out there to people that actually want to be informed. But I feel that some of the online retailers are pulling badly managed Black Friday Deals or even bait an switch tactics to lure people to buy from them.
I got up at 6 AM EST this morning to try and take advantage at the two ticket items listed here at Bud’s at 8 AM EST, but was met with extreme website not found cloudflare errors. On top of that all off their offices were also closed. Apparently they were having an online sale before anyone in the company was at work (Business Hours 9am-9pm)
If you check on Bud’s Facebook in the comments of the November 26 post about the Black Friday sale you’ll see all the evidence, lots of people posting images of website being down.
Granted I know that I am just one person that’s probably feeling very cheated that I got up early to try and take advantage of online Black Friday deals only to be screwed over and out of the deal entirely.
I guess I just wanted someone to know other than hundreds maybe thousands of people cheated out of a Black Friday deal that wasn’t properly prepared for or even given proper recognition.
