Gabrielle Giffords,” kjc8.com reports. “The Democratic sponsored bill passed on a 3-2 party-line vote in the State Senate, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee. The bill would expand background checks to include private and online firearm sales.” Given the CO Dems control of the State Senate, it’s all down to Governor Hickenlooper. In other words, preventing gun registration in the Rocky Mountain State is perilously close to a lost cause. Opponents of the mag cap bill face the same long odds.
