Multiple reports of shots fired at YoutTube headquarters including tweets from employees inside the building.

From the Los Angeles Times:

Producers from YouTube tweeted that they believed there was an active shooter on the company’s campus. Some said they heard so many people running that they believed an earthquake had struck. Others described a gruesome scene.

“I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs,” Todd Sherman, a YouTube producer, wrote on Twitter. “Peaked around for threats and then we headed downstairs and out the front.”

More as it becomes available.

Initial reports indicate a lone female shooter, but as is almost always the case in the situations, early reports are frequently incorrect.

San Francisco’s KTVU is reporting that “between three and five victims” have arrived at San Francisco General Hospital and are being treated. More have arrived at Stanford University Medical Center.

KTVU has played a recording from the San Bruno police department radio indicating a female suspect was down near the building with a weapon recovered. A possible male suspect was being sought. The incident is apparently over and contained.

The shooter reportedly shout out the glass on a rear door to exit the building.

According to the law enforcement new conference above. One male victim was found dead inside the YouTube headquarters building. A female believed to have been the shooter was found outside the building, dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Four additional people were wounded and transported to area hospitals.
