You’re probably familiar with EOTech’s flip-up G33 3X magnifier which works beautifully with one of their holographic weapons sights. The G33 gives you instant magnification to more easily reach targets out to about 300 yards or so. It isn’t in expensive — a G33 will run you close to $600 — but it’s built like a tank and has exceptional clarity.
Now EOTech’s announced three new magnifiers, including a new, more affordable model at about 1/2 the price.
First there’s the new smaller G43. It gives shooters flip-up 3X magnification in a shorter, lighter package.
The G43 MSRP will be $629. And if you want a little more magnification, there’s the new G45 with 5X magnification.
MSRP is $669. Both the G43 and G45 will hit the stores in the spring. But available right now is the EOTech G30.
The G30 is a fixed (no flip-up) magnifier that has the usual EOTech clarity, but no rubberized armor and doesn’t flip up or out of view. It does, however, have a QD lever release for quick installation and, well, de-installation. It also MSRPs at $319 and you can find it at $299 retail.
