You know all those jokes about gun control meaning controlling your gun? True dat. Anything that improves accuracy is a good thing. Anything that doesn’t isn’t. That said, a firearm is what it is. It’s the shooter’s job to wield it safely and effectively. But some gun designs are safer than others. Wilson Combat marketing maven John May reckons a 1911 “isn’t a beginner’s gun.” So what, then, do we make of the Mossberg 500 chainsaw?
