Yesterday, we ran a contest asking our Armed Intelligentsia to devise a pro-2A slogan for people who don’t own a gun. The theme was a tribute to Gun Guys author Dan Baum; a once and future TTAG contributor who “gets” guns like Danielle Lloyd gets attention but somehow fails to grasp the whole Second Amendment thing. (Liberals. Go figure.) Dan also forgot the fact that the last six words of his book are a pro-2A slogan for fence straddlers: “Don’t Like Guns? Don’t Have One.” Anyway, Dan’s chosen a winner: “Guns – because free speech sounds funny with a boot on your neck.” Rich’s hardcover edition of Gun Guys is on its way.
