Full Info: SIG SAUER’s Silencer Lineup

We’ve seen previews of the SIG SAUER silencer line, but now the whole thing has been released and I even snagged a copy of the dealer pricing sheet. It looks like there are six main silencer lines: rimfire, 9mm, 45ACP, .308, 5.56, and .338. The handgun silencers each come with two recoil boosters, one in the usual American thread pitch and the other metric left hand, so it will work out of the box no matter what you want (still no fixed spacer, though) all for $695 MSRP. As for the rifle silencers . . .

Each line (.308, 5.56, .338) will have a “base” model that is a direct thread stainless steel can, and depending on the add-ons you want the price goes up in $100 increments. Want a QD version? +$100. Titanium direct thread? +$200. Titanium QD? +$300. It’s pretty easy to understand, and given the base price not very difficult to stomach.

5.56: $545

.308: $595

.338: $995

That’s damn near half as much as the base model from a certain competitor of SIG SAUER’s cans, but having tested them personally I can say that they are worlds better than what AAC has been cranking out for the last couple years. Which is a little sad, frankly — I liked AAC.
