Today we bring you the EDC of a municipal police officer in Israel. Yoff calls it his “Have a quiet day” ensemble. From Everyday Carry, of course.

Just guessing here, but I’m thinking Israeli police have to face very determined adversaries aside from your garden variety criminals in that small nation-state. His gear suggests he’s serious about maintaining his readiness to deal with problems even when not “working.” Too bad the average civilian in Israel doesn’t have greater access to concealed carry. Because harsh words mean little to knife- or gun-wielding Muslim terrorists.
In this case, Yoff has his trusty GLOCK19 with a spare mag. Lots of hollow-point goodness to put goblins down ASAP, too. I’m thinking/hoping he just didn’t include his belt and holster. Surely he doesn’t Mexican carry his Gat.
Supposedly that’s an Amazfit Pace Multisport Smartwatch but it doesn’t look anything like the Amazon piece. Maybe Yoff will chime in to clarify. And the leather tactical gloves? We called those “driving gloves” in the 80s. I think those went out of style along with parachute pants. Anyone remember those?
I find it interesting he carries a Browning folder in Israel. And a NiteCore EC20 flashlight. I’m leery of NiteCore after a bad experience with one of their products many, many years ago, but your mileage might be entirely different.
He’s also got those nitrile gloves and a first aid kit, albeit tiny.
Feel free to discuss the utility (or lack thereof) of a kubaton. Yeah, it’s a tool. But does it do much that other tools wouldn’t serve the end user better?
