Post Sandy Hook, the civilian disarmament campaign has done its level best to demonize the modern sporting rifle. Ignoring the need to shoot multiple hogs in short order (and the MSR’s light weight, accuracy, affordability and reliability), the gun grabbers’ mock its utility as a hunting weapon. They call the AR-15 a “weapon of war” that has no business in the hands of civilians—even though police are civilians and they’ve got no beef with that. Anyway, reader AA sent us this image of his father’s AR-15 paper towel holder. So . . . what else can you do with an AR-15 that doesn’t kill as many people as possible as fast as possible (even though that’s not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to, say, defending against an attack by a murderous gang)?
