Get it wrong and we may never get another chance to put it right.” Yes, well, there’s nothing wrong with bringing the rest of the world up to the U.S. standards for arms exports (end user certificates and such). But it looks like the gun grabbers have latched onto the stealthy U.N. Arms Treaty as a way to attack armed self-defense . . .
Sure, the tribal and internecine violence in developing countries is horrific. But are we really saying that a disarmed populace would be better for all concerned? And I wonder if Britain’s champagne socialists supporting gun control abroad are aware that the UK economy would collapse if Her Majesty’s government choked off the island’s arms exports. Just a thought.
