For the last month or so, recipients of TTAG’s customized content emails have been automatically entered into a random drawing to win a brand new Bushmaster AR-15. And . . . we have a winner!

The rifle’s on its way to its new owner, Lance B. of Indiana. Proof of life! We’ll post a photo of the lucky duck holding his Bushmaster ballistic BFF ASAP.

Meanwhile, it’s time to offer a new gun to members of our email list: the SIG SAUER’s SIG716 G2. A box-fresh 7.62mm caliber rifle that sells for well over $2000.

“Combining the reliability and ergonomics of the SIG516™ series rifle with the more powerful 7.62mm cartridge, the SIG716 features a short-stroke pushrod gas system,” the gunmaker’s website proclaims. “This advanced operating system reduces carbon fouling, excessive heat and unburned powder in the action, ensuring reliability and function that is unmatched.”

Our man Foghorn confirms that the SIG716 G2 Patrol is all kinds of awesome. The fit and finish is superb. The accuracy is astounding. The reliability robust. You want this gun. You need this gun. You can win this gun!

If you’re receiving TTAG customized content emails, sit back, relax and cross your fingers. You’re already entered.

If you’re not getting carefully selected links to TTAG posts, including the Internet’s most trusted gun reviews, sign up for our email list now — either when you see the pop-up on screen or by entering your email in the “Get Our Newsletter” box at the bottom of this page.

We’ll select our next winner — at random — from our list of email subscribers.

[Legal stuff: The drawing is restricted to U.S. citizens. The winner must be 18 or older. The firearm must be legal in the winner’s state. If the winner lives in a state where ownership is prohibited, we’ll send a state-legal firearm of equal value. The rifle must be transferred via an FFL.]

Good luck!

  1. “The fit and finish is superb. The accuracy is astounding. The reliability robust.”

Almost, but not quite. It should have read:

“The fit and finish is fantastic. The accuracy is astounding. The reliability robust. And the price, to you, our ever handsome and beautiful faithful readers, is *Perfect*!”

Egads, I really should have gone into writing ad copy for a living instead of analytical chemistry.

Especially since alcoholic ad men is kinda expected in that line of work.

    *hic*…

  2. I have inadvertently started collecting guns in different calibers. As in I don’t own 2 guns of the same caliber. I don’t have a 7.62X51, so this will be perfect to force me to buy more ammo.

  3. Would like to win that gun but I ain’t signing up for anymore emails from anybody. I must unsubscribe to at least one a day. Had to file a complaint with the BBB to get off one etailers email mailing list after a dozen unsubscribes and a call to the company. Damn if filing a complaint with the BBB didn’t get them off top dead center. Bastards!

    • I’m the poor bastard they put in charge of the email list.

I personally guarantee that the unsubscribe function works, that you can choose which emails you want to get easily, and we will never share your email with anyone else. On pain of watching my M1 Garand being handed to Chuck Schumer.

      • Nick, I don’t get the daily emails though I’ve subscribed about a half dozen times. Am I on a ban list or something?

  4. A meme that was recently making rounds on FB comes to mind, it said something like ‘If the government treats you this badly while you are armed, imagine what they’ll do after they disarm you’. Probably more truth to that than most of us are comfortable with.
