My daily carry now is a SIG P320 Subcompact carried in a Crossbreed holster with 12+1 rounds of SIG 147 grain JHP V-Crown ammunition. The flat trigger is fantastic, as well as the sights.
The holster is very comfortable and I would highly recommend it. The knife is just one of a bunch of random cheap knives that I cycle through. And a little notebook for, well, notes.
My home defense gun is also A P320, and it’s nice to have all the mags fit both guns and the same exact grip angle and such. The modularity is also a huge plus.
I also like the ability to have any round count between 12 and 17 depending on ease of carry for my daily tasks. Work…12-round magazine. Church…15 rounds or 17.
I also can carry the 21-round spare mag to church or large gatherings, usually not anywhere else. The x-grip adapters work pretty well. I’ve invested a bit in this platform and I think I’ll keep it for quite a while.

Back when ttag did the friday caption contest I won a couple of holsters that look like that. I’ll have to dig them out and see if that is the brand.
I am about to pull the trigger on that style. So many options. If StealthGearUSA had one specifically for my m2.0 3.6, I’d probably go with that one, but they only offer a 4″ version and I don’t want the access length. Any suggestions? I don’t really like Aliengear because their holsters are really bulky, but this version of holster doesn’t look too bad. Just not fond of the clips and their attachments. Looks like they would wear or break easily.
I can’t give you a review. They’re still new in the package. Never used either one. Because I live in CA and cannot get a permit when I carry I have to be real discreet. So its pocket carry with a j frame.

cross breed carries lower than my full leather stuff. the riveting is secure and permanent. retention is adjustable via heat gun/ hair dryer. the freedom carry (one rear clip that pulls the grip in tight) has a cant range. horsehide is an option.
familiarize yosef wit the various models and visit crossbreedseconds for some serviceable deals.
I watched a couple reviews and the one thing leading me to AlienGear is the adjustable retention. Meaning that when it’s nice and worn in, you can swap the retention washers for smaller ones. I saw a couple videos on the Crossbreed where after a years wear and tear the gun was way too loose, and no way to adjust it without retreating the kydex. I think AlienGear got this holster right, so I’ll try it. And I never thought I would ever say that, because when I first started carrying I got their interchangeable one and it was bulky and trashy. Felt like lego’s. This is a one style holster. The only thing that worries me is the aggressive grip on my m2.0. Not for my skin because I wear an undershirt, but for snagging and printing. One reason why I have been reluctant to try these styles before. I can’t see my butt unless I really try and break my neck.
Clips, screws, and anchors on my MiniTuck (for P365) are all metal; they don’t appear especially susceptible to wear or breakage.

No Gucci gun. No Gucci blade. This is a rig that normal people carry and not all to frequent Instagram loadout. I would quibble with the choice of ammo. V-Crown fails most of the denim tests I have seen.
Yup, V-crown fails the denim test. When was the last time you saw a would be assailant wearing 4 layers of denim? V-crown does well in the other testing and 365 V-crown works very well in my Sig 365.
I use Critical Defense in my full size 9’s, but I like that Sig made an ammunition specifically for my shorter barrel pistol.
It represents heavy clothing. I live in the Great White North so sometimes from late October through early April. Why use ammo that fails standard tests when there are an alternatives that don’t?
While the sig ammo doesn’t quite compare to hst, it still performs fairly well and is $13 instead of $22. If it’s available and hst is not or I only have a $20 in my wallet, its a decent alternative.
Yeah, but if it is the time of the year when it will behave like FMJ you can get FMJ for less.
How does it preform with a contact shot to the skull? If we have the option we would just carry our favorite rifle. As it is handguns will have to suffice.
I used to be all wrapped up in bullet performance and a person needs to be when shooting a small caliber weapon. Will it expand sufficiently, will it penatrate, will the gun need to be tuned to feed this hollow point?. .45 hardball is what I use, it’s already expanded, it penatrate, and it feeds from a sand paper ramp
Must not be a well put together firearm if you can’t fire HP in it without worrying about feed issues.
Using FMJ is a poor choice for many reasons, not the least of which being that it endangers anyone that might be behind your target if you have to use your gun defensively. Or would you refrain from shooting a bad guy unless he was helpfully standing in front of a nice safe hill?

So, what, like denim can stop the bullet?
Denim can fill the hollow tip, causing it to not expand. So it acts like a FMJ when the hollow point is filled with cloth.
I also live in the North and the thugs usually run around in hoodies and thin pullovers, not likely to run into 4 layers of denim unless you happen across a moonshiner wearing osh-gosh overalls and a denim jacket.
The V-Crown still penetrate just fine – they just don’t mushroom out very well if the unlucky recipient just happens to be wearing more than a couple of layers of denim. But, part of my self-defense repertoire are the Seismic 185 grain 9mm +M. Those puppies hit hard and mushroom out magnificently.
Try the J clips for the crossbreed.
Seem to hold holster down better when drawing gun.
Also less of a “look at me” profile.
Are more of a hassle to take off holster.

Sorry to say I agree but for different reasons. “The people” want to go back to stats quo ante C19 and back to status quo we will go. One thing I have learned from the past couple of months is that righties are just lefties with different opinions.
The “We The People” holster is a great inexpensive holster out of Las Vegas and the shipping is always free. Only holster I’ve found made for my XDe. And others.
They only offer one style, and it looks painful. That straight edge does not cut into your groin?
Also, a great mag carrier. Order one with your holster and get a good deal.

Hate to say it, but this is looking like a Darwin Award winner. The woman waded into the pond where the alligator was and tried to touch it, despite the couple who owned the house she was at screaming for her to get away from it. They’d seen this gator take a deer a few days previous.
