Here’s C-SPAN’s coverage of the committee session where the gun control bills were marked up. Also, for those interested, we’ve found Feinstein’s exact words where she reveals her belief that PTSD is something new since the Iraq war and that all new veterans have it.

  1. I believe Seantor Feinstein suffers from a very dangerous and conagious form of stupid and is a clear threat to National Security and should be put down.

  2. I can’t watch this. It just raises my blood pressure. For me, it’s best viewed through the filter of annalists by others. This DF I mean Diane Fienstine is a diabolical life form that can negatively affect your DNA. I don’t watch….for the children.

    • There are more than enough stupid people breeding these days. Was there really that many stupid people breeding then?

  3. So she thinks police are unable to suffer from PTSD? Wow now she confirmed how biased and idiotic she is. I believe that she may in fact hate military service members.

      • Unfortunately, those guys are already in the Cal State Legislature making our life miserable, and with some term limiting out, they will be looking for new pastures the momnet DiFi retires (or dies). No one, not no one, has a chance running against her, and no one has even tried for years to get the democratic nomination. The Republican candidates are a joke, no names that cannot even get their own party to pop for advertising support. It would just be a waste of money.

  4. Tyranny at work.

Take a moment and reflect, everyone. Future history books about the fall of America will cite days like this.

    • They know. They use the wrong terms when they speak (for whatever stupid reason) but when the bills are written the propper term or something more vauge is used. Instead of clip or the propper term (magazine) they will use something like “ammunition feeding device” which will leave it open for interpritation. You know, in case they want to ban something else down the road.

  5. So when is she going to introduce legislation to place all her political opponents in re-education camps? The progressive/socialist path cannot be infringed.

  6. Funny how Senator Feinstein and Senator Leahy–both of whom SERVE the public–propose common sense legislation that can diminish crime and violence and are instantly reviled by so many.

Then you have so-called citizen rights supporters like Wayne Lapierre–who has never served anyone without getting paid, and paid well–make absurd statements about the “right” of citizens to military-grade machine guns. Suddenly, hero!

    • Hello, troll. People who are supposed to serve the public in Congress in Washington, DC take an oath to uphold the Constitution and defend it from enemies foreign and domestic. They are NOT supposed to attack it themselves.

      • By your same logic, women shouldn’t have the right to vote? Someone had to “attack” the Constitution in order to emplace the 19th Amendment.

  7. I would like to know what polls she is referring to when she says that most people are in favor of the assault weapons ban.

  8. Respect for life: DiFi net-worth is around 100 million. So, how does a professional politician accumulate that kind of wealth over their career?

    • She’s what, 80? Had 3 husbands, etc… also, her financial records are public record, unlike Wayne’s. Her net worth is really not the issue. What is the issue is that she chooses to serve in an elected office. The people chose her, over, and over, and over… Despite being fabulously wealthy, she spends her time and energy supporting the will of the majority of her state’s voters.

Personally, I think she’s crazier than a shit-house rat. My opinion is completely irrelevant, however, as I am not one of her constituents. What I don’t care for, and is relevant, is that the gun lobby does not enjoy her level of support (again, in her district) and is headed up by people that are paid significantly more than public servants.

  9. Her salary is lower than Wayne’s but politicians use their public postions regularly to influence business deals for money. I would bet that she has used her political contacts for business contracts. So, my point is her wealth gives some evidence that she is not in politics just to serve the public. However, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t believe in here cause or that because Wayne gets paid a healthy salary. He doesn’t believe in his cause too.
