One week ago, a gunman armed with a Ruger AR-15 shot at Sutherland Springs First Baptist Church, then entered and began killing parishioners. One week ago, an armed American grabbed his AR-15 and shot the spree killer bedevilling the small west Texas town. To mark this gruesome milestone, the anti-gun rights mainstream media is focusing on the first part of that horrific equation and trying its best to ignore the latter. It’s not easy . . .

Simple logic says if there’d been armed members at the Sutherland Springs church they could’ve stopped or at least limited the killer’s deadly rampage. Which is why churches, synagogues and temples around the country are reevaluating their security arrangements, many [finally] adding defensive firearms to the mix.

Colbert I King (courtesy cspan.com)

Which is also why the anti-gun-rights mainstream media is scrambling to find writers who can make a case — some kind of case — against armed worshippers.

As one the leading lights of the civilian disarmament industrial complex, The Washington Post no doubt felt compelled to turn to opinion writer (as opposed to?) Colbert I. King (above) to explain why houses of worship should be “gun free zones.”

Mr. King’s polemic acknowledges “the role of the armed neighbor who returned fire before first responders got to the scene.” But asks “As we contemplate God in our spiritual journey, must we also now pray for the capacity to shoot back?”

Sure! Why not?

Set aside for the moment the risk of armed church members confusing congregants they don’t recognize with an assailant, or the danger of friendly fire, or protectors who accidentally mishandle their lethal weapons.

Consider what we are giving in to. Some may call it reality. How about resignation? To think: gunning up and hunkering down in a house of God.

Got it. Reality sucks. Resigning yourself to reality can be a painful process. You have to abandon the preconceptions and prejudices that obscured your ability to see things as they really are, as opposed how you thought they were, or wish them to be. The red pill is a bitter pill to swallow. But there it is. And Mr. King only makes a head feint in that direction.

Gun violence is our problem. And we, holed up in our sanctuaries, seem to be losing heart as we resort to building arsenals in our churches and homes.

We know better. To return peace to our houses of worship and communities, we need to start by fixing our gun laws. We need to restrict access to those deadly weapons, keeping them out of the wrong hands — domestic-violence offenders, people with histories of violent behavior and the like.

We can’t set ourselves apart, hunkering down behind church walls. We need to keep faith that things can be made better, that there are ways — legislatively, medically, communally — to prevent the violence that takes a toll on our lives, done in the spirit of loving our neighbors as ourselves.

If we can’t do that, if we don’t want to try that, really, what’s the point?

What’s the point of what? Life? Tooling-up before you take a knee for your deity? If that’s the question, self-preservation and the preservation of innocent life is the answer.

It’s an answer that gun control advocates can’t counter, except to throw up their hands and say “has it really come to this?” They singularly fail/refuse to understand that lethal threats to religious groups were, are and always be with us — no matter what laws man passes.

  1. We have armed security/people in our church, and we’re just a small–maybe 150 people–church. Many black people don’t like guns. They think that guns are only for criminals and drug dealers. That’s how messed up the black community is in the United States.

    • “Many black people don’t like guns. They think that guns are only for criminals and drug dealers. That’s how messed up the black community is in the United States.”

Over the past 20 years, Black support for gun rights has *doubled*.

Also interesting to note, there is evidence the Black community is waking up to the fact the Leftists don’t exactly have their best interests at heart in Wash, DC and are starting to vote…

    • The interesting FACT is that the NRA was initially established to support black Americans need for guns to protect themselves, their families, and their communities from democrats after the civil war. Guns are still used for the same purpose today. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any CCW holder or for that matter and one open carrying while attending church. Americans need to be able to defend themselves, their families, and their communities whenever and wherever necessary.

      • In addition to the clear and obvious need for a man to own a “BBQ gun”, it appears a good idea to set a goal of having an acceptable “Sunday go-to-meeting gun”, as well. What would that be? Something that is prettier than the other guys’ guns, extra points for engraving and/or inlay, for both gun and holster.

      • Although the NRA did help start a black chapter, it was not initially founded to help arm blacks. It was a marksmanship program founded by a Union Army officer disgusted in the lack of shooting skill among his troops.

      • Charleston, SC used to have a law that required all males attending church to bring their long guns. I think it is still on the books but not practiced as the state has a law that requires the paster to give permission to anyone who brings a firearm into a church.

  2. Is God willing to prevent evil, but unable?
    Then he is not omnipotent.
    Is he able, but unwilling?
    The he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
    Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither willing nor able?
    The why call him God?

    -Epicurus

      • Empirical proof that just because you’re a Greek philosopher doesn’t mean you’re automatically smart or wise, let alone worthy of being quoted hundreds of years later.

      • So, what bad choice the bicyclists run down in NYC make? Or the people in that church?
What choice does any victim of random violence make?

Apparently god cares very much about athletes and games they play, but I guess those people praying in church weren’t interesting enough to be saved. Perhaps he was too busy delivering a World Series, or something. Maybe, if you guys would quit praying about test results, your kid’s ball game, and the football pool, maybe the guy could actually save some people or something.

        • maybe they made all the right choices and they are now being rewarded for their life and their works in heaven

    • Or, as historian Yahuda Bauer has said: “You can believe in an all-knowing all-powerful god, or a loving god, but you cannot believe in both.”

      • I go with the former as God is not constrained to love all people the same all the time. God has the full range of human emotions and more. No one has a problem with God hating the devil or bringing wrath upon him. “But if God does not act the way I want him to then he is bad”. Or maybe our idea of what is good and is flawed?

Yet I have loved Jacob [Israel]; but I have hated Esau [Edom]. – Mal 1:2&3

      • Yehuda offers an artificial dichotomy based on presumptions related to his definitional categories. I.e., God must be this or that based on presumption.

    • I think ‘ol Epicurus had it right-on-the-money. Reliance on a mythical being that is not PROVEABLY existant seems rather silly.
So does relying on some written missive (law) to keep an unsane person from going to a place KNOWN to discourage any means of self protection (guns).

Yeah, like PRAYING is going to somehow stop an AR-type rifle from functioning?

    • The difference between a tyrant and a benefactor. God gave man free will, so as a benefactor all He does is set the groundwork, and lets us work it out for ourselves. We know the risks and the rewards. He’s omnipotent because He knows the outcomes of ALL the decisions made by humankind and only judges us at the end.

      • I’d put up 50 passages from the OT and NT that illuminate what a tyrant “god” really is (at least according to the rambling missives of the 20+ authors, over 100+ years, of a deliberately edited “text” called ‘The Bible’.)

But you’ve obviously never actually read the thing, so…

  3. Has there ever been a moment in human history where murderers have been successfully disarmed? Cain had a rock. Prisoners have shivs. Drug cartels have weapons stolen from the military. Dozens of countries have weapons and ammo given freely from the US. There are millions of guns, billions of 30 round mags, and trillions of rounds of ammunition just in the US.

I’ll make a deal to any anti-gunner: disarm the bad guys and you can have all of my self defense guns and ammo. Go ahead and melt them down to make a peace statue. Just disarm all the nutjobs, and they’re yours.

I’m curious how a law could possibly disarm the world’s criminals, but if you make one that accomplishes that task you can have all my stuff.

Also, the disciples with Jesus had swords. Perhaps you should read the book you’re trying to preach. My church has armed volunteers. I’ll take that over disarmed sheep any day.

    • I’m one of the Old Ones who believe that executing murderers is extremely effective at disarming them, permanently. Therefore, at any time in human history wherein murderers were executed quickly and efficiently, THEN was a time when we disarmed murderers.

      • Execution eliminates THAT murderer, but not murder. England used to post the heads of the executed on the Bailey Gate for all to see. They still had murder. Hammurabi demanded an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. They still had murder. All through history, and for ever more as far as we can predict, there will be murder.

        • Yes, we will always have murders, at least as long as Homo Sapiens remains at its current level of evolution. In the meantime, we can rest assured that any murderer whose head is on a spike at the city gates will not murder again.
We can also be certain that, as a certain number of our murderers are not first-timers, each one executed will quite possibly save another life. And he who saves one life saves the world entire.
So, let’s save the world, one murderer at a time.

        • @John in AK:

Yes, we will always have murders, at least as long as Homo Sapiens remains at its current level of evolution.

Kindly please identify the forces of natural selection that are improving that current level?

    • Maybe if you take everyone, before they can murder, and tie them to posts inside a cave, facing a wall, and make them live that way forever. Maybe light a fire behind them to provide some light and shadows for entertainment.

    • Since governments have been the biggest murderers by far throughout history, I will give up my arms only after the Left disarms ALL of the governments in the world, including the US itself. And they must disarm ALL parts of those governments — military, police, Treasury Department, Secret Service, etc. Then, and only then, should we surrender our weapons. Everyone should be disarmed, or no one should be disarmed.

    • Implicit in this new anti-gun narrative is the idea that victims of violence are somehow more or less responsible for what happens. If we hadn’t made the Southerland Springs killer angry, if we’d only tried to better understand why he had such a low self-image, why he had such pent-up anger, why we didn’t do more to stop people like him from killing in the first place.

The contention from The Left that shooters who kill people are “triggered” and, as a result, are a normal and expected consequence of a society that “does things” to people that makes them start killing shows the level of contempt the culture warriors feel for the rest of us—shows the contempt they felt for the members of the Southerland Springs First Baptist Church.

Their complaint that “guns don’t belong in church” belies the brutal fact that, belonging there or not, the next guns in church may be in the hands of a spree killer hell bent on killing any and everyone in sight. Because we are at least partially at blame for creating such a toxic society, gun-controller ideology is quite comfortable with making church goers—who they don’t much like anyway—wait their turn to be killed.

  4. WWJD: As He admonished His disciples, “He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one”
    Luke 22:36.
The implication, of course is it is more important to protect yourself from evil men than foul weather.

    • SHOULD THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH BE ARMED!
A STUPID QUESTION WITH A TOTALLY OBVIOUS ANSWER!!!
For 33 years my wife was Secretary of Big Springs Baptist Church here in Cleveland, Tennessee and of those in attendance in that church of 200+ members among which there were several officers, I was probably the only one that was armed, having always been armed even back in 1950s when in college and subsequently in the course of working in 8 or 9 staunch anti-gun states as well as through TODAY . . . . always having been firmly convinced the Our Triune God gave us not only the ability but the responsibility as well of providing for ourselves, that in spite of His having provided for each of us who belonged to Him His Divine LEADERSHIP, GUIDANCE DIRECTION AS WELL AS HIS PROTECTION!!!
“ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK CLEARLY, POTENTIALLY AND INEVITABLY INVITE INEVITABLE TERRIBLE TRAGIC RESULTS”; the validity of this astute observation yet again just proven by this latest incident that took place earlier this Sunday morning !, 5 Nov. 2017, i.e. this that at this rural Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas and in which it is now reported that at least 26 dead and 20 were injured in this shooting in which the murder supposedly killed himself.
The harsh reality is that evil is rampant in these latter days as Lucifer, his Demons and his totally devoted and totally evil human disciples wHO totally dedicated to EVIL and this fact this should be readily apparent to those who are claiming to be Christians and if they are Born Again Christians and thus indwelled by The Holy Spirit, they the legitimate Church body as a whole should most certainly be readily aware of this most obvious fact and most certainly suppose to be wise and thus knowing fact it is beyond reason that Christian Churches should choose to ignore this readily apparent fact and this ignorance is beyond reason and certainly beyond excuse.
Only the ’secular’, the Unsaved could & should logically be expected to be ignorant of and/or ignore this glaring vivid fact!!!
      AND SO . . .

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK CLEARLY POTENTIALLY AND CLEARLY INEVITABLY INVITE INEVITABLE TERRIBLE TRAGIC RESULTS!!! . . . and this OBVIOUS TRUTH applies to Christian congregations, especially this ‘day and time”!!!!!!!

THE CHRISTIAN, CHURCH “OF ALL ‘PEOPLE” SHOULD AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE THE ‘OSTRIGE COMPLEX!!!; THE CHURCH BODY TO BE WISE, POSITIVE AND PROACTIVE RATHER THAN BEING COMPLACENT, BLISSFULLY IGNORANT AND INDIFFERENT TO OBVIOUS HARSH REALITY.

(OUR LORD JESUS YOU MANY RECALL TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO ACQUIRE SWORDS AND YOU SURELY KNOW THAT HE ALREADY KNEW THAT THEY HAD A FEW ALREADY SO THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION MUST WELL BE THAT HE HAD THIS ADMONISHMENT RECORDED NOT FOR THEIR EARS BUT FOR OURS!!!!!!!

      • It was also not beyond Jesus to overturn tables and strike the evil money changers at the temple. So when asked WWJD I like to remind people he would get violent when needed.

  5. The phrase ‘gunning up and hunkering down in church’ fairly well sums up the serious flaw in any argument against being armed in any place where other, more defenseless humans are concentrated and contained.
We do not ‘gun up to hunker down;’ We ‘gun up’ so that we do not HAVE to ‘hunker down.’ When things go very badly, the prepared person on the side of Good can stand up and take the fight back to the one who would be Evil, instead of ‘hunkering down’ and waiting for the fatal bullet, or cowering as other innocents get THEIR fatal bullet.
People such as this think that armed folk are paranoid and delusional, cowering with firearms behind closed doors with a barricaded-victim mentality, fearful of anything and everything, without cause. The exact reverse is true: We are NOT paranoid and delusional, because there ARE Things That Go Bump In The Night, and we refuse to let The Things take control of our lives. We are, contrarily, confident that we can, if given half a chance, make a difference, and we are not willing to cower.
We are just a little different.

  6. NO ONE WITH A GRAIN OF SENSE DOUBTS THAT THE SO-CALLED ‘MAINSTREAM MEDIA’ IS WITHOUT A DOUBT PRIMARILY AND PROBABLY TOTALLY SATANIC; THEY EVIL TO THE CORE; A DUPLICATE OF THE NAZI PROPAGANDA ORGAN OF THAT OF THE GOBBLE-HITLER’S NATIONAL SOCIALIST SPEWERS OF THE 1930s & 1940a; THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE DEGREE AND THAT DEGREE IS INCREASING EXPONENTIALLY.

  7. This really has a very simple answer that kills their anti gun argument.

The church is a house of God, all are welcome there no mater what? Doors open to all worshipers?

But you have locks on the doors?
So not all persons can be trusted not to harm or steal from God’s house? Even though you can come in when the priest is there?

  8. Please read this very relavent comment from Christian, Jeff Quinn of Gunblast.com. He is a humble man with great, biblical insight! Feel free to pass this along.

    Christian Men & Guns

    By Jeff Quinn of Gunblast.com

I have been asked on occasion how I can justify carrying a gun and being a Christian at the same time. This is always posed by someone who is trying to trip me up. It can either be a devout Christian asking the question, or a Hedonistic heathen; it doesn’t matter. There are those who believe, or choose to believe, that a Christian must be absolutely passive in all things. I am not just referring to those Christians who ride a horse and buggy. I have been asked about my views on self defense by Christians of most every denomination. Some are genuinely seeking an answer. Others just want to chastise me for not being as “faithful” as themselves.

Many will accept every modern worldly convenience, but scoff at the idea of trying to protect oneself or the life of another. Their attitude seems to be that “God will protect us”. They do have a valid point. God will protect us from the evils of this world, if he so chooses. I would rather have God on my side than a battery of Sidewinder missiles. Indeed, our God can protect us. However, that attitude would lead one to believe that he could walk through Harlem wearing a Ku Klux Klan outfit campaigning for George Wallace, and that “God will protect us”. God could get you through that, but Jesus said that we should not tempt God. I tend to agree with his assessment.

In the saddlebag of my motorcycle, I have a tiny cross with the inscription “Faith Moves Mountains”, but I also ride in the mountains of East Tennessee and the western United States, and I make sure that my brakes are in good working order. I could just trust God to catch me, but again, that could be construed as tempting God. God gave us brakes on our motorcycles, and that is sufficient.

God can indeed protect us. He can keep us safe on the highways, and he can also keep us safe from those who would intentionally do us harm. I am not speaking of politicians here, but of the evil that is in the souls of some human beings. Be certain in this; there is true evil in this world, and it sometimes manifests itself in the form of a low life predator. Being a Christian, it is difficult to believe that people, made of the same composition of flesh, bone, and blood as ourselves, could be truly evil. We have a Heavenly Father who has filled us with basic goodness, but Jesus said that there are those “who are of the synagogue of Satan”.

No sane individual would hesitate to defend himself from a rabid dog or a poisonous snake, but are the two-legged vipers of this world any better than an animal? An animal does that which comes naturally to him. Children of Satan do that which comes naturally to them: that being evil.

Can God protect us from those who would do us harm? Absolutely. However, just as he has given us brakes to save us from the mountain, he has also given to us the tools necessary to defend ourselves, and those whom God has given to us. As Christian men, God not only allows us to protect our families, but he expects us to protect those whom he has placed in our care. This may seem contrary to the mandate for us to “turn the other cheek”, and I too have pondered over this. It takes great strength to turn the other cheek as Jesus intended. That is not a commandment to be weak. Jesus did not operate from a position of weakness. In fact, nothing ever happened to him that he did not allow.

God has entrusted us with the care of our brothers, whether those “brothers” be the children that he has given to us, or our wives, or our friends. We could set our children outside in the cold and trust that God would keep them warm. We could abandon them and trust that God will keep them fed. We could let them loose on the city streets or send them off for a week at Neverland, and trust that no sick, evil freak would abuse them. As Christians, we do not do these things to our children. God expects us to clothe them, feed them, and protect them from the evil that is inherent in this world. He gave to us the ability to buy clothes, grow food, build a fire, and to fight off those who would do us harm. In the time that Jesus walked the Earth in the form of man, the short sword was the state-of-the-art weapon. He told his followers that the time of living carefree was over, and that the time had come for those without a sword to “sell his garment and buy one”.

Today, we have better than a sword. We have more modern weapons at our disposal, and so does our enemy. Keeping a good rifle to defend one’s homestead and a reliable handgun to ward off evil that finds you when you least expect it is not only prudent, but expected. A Christian man is not mean, hateful, spiteful, or quick to anger. Neither is he weak. God never told us to let the evil in this world run over us like a train. He never toyld us to stand by idly as those whom he trusted to us are abused or killed. A Christian man who packs a gun does not look for trouble, and avoids it if at all possible. However, evil can seek you out.

A well-armed man operates from a position of strength. He is less likely to have to fight than an unarmed man. The predators in this world look for easy prey. God did not put his people on this Earth to be prey for the sons of Satan. God expects us to stand up for what is right, and he gives us the tools with which to do so. When you defend the life of one of God’s children, you are defending good against evil. Use your good sense and God’s word to avoid trouble. If necessary, use the gun at your side to stand against it.

    • The “passive Christian” schtick was invented to make them more compliant to tyrants. At one time of survival necessity, but now mostly for political & fundraising reasons. “Give us money instead of doing something about your problems”

  9. “Lord, grant us a world where assault weapons are no longer needed”
“Do we want to accept a world where we bring weapons to our place of worship?”
    “Whatever caused this unavoidable tragedy”
“Was it life imitating art in our movies and video games?”
-Presbyterian sermon this morning at the local church I decided to check out (I will be looking elsewhere next weekend, it seems)

Nothing more dangerous than a naiive Christian; so quick to sacrifice anything and everyone, of course themselves but more importantly others, all for no purpose (by which I mean a meaningful outcome for those sinners left behind that they purport to care for so much).

  10. There are plenty of churches that allow legal possession of firearms. My church is one of them. There are plenty of houses of worship and if your church doesn’t allow you to legally carry, I would find a church that does.

  11. “Washington Post: “For the Love of God, Don’t Bring Guns to Church!””

I wouldn’t expect anything less from the wapo, but I’d be willing to bet that they have armed security at their office(s)…

  12. I can respect someone who is truly passive and non violent, i.e. someone who walks the talk 168 hours a week, not someone who thinks the 1-2 hours a week in a church makes you special. A church after all has been defined tongue in cheek as a room full of admitted sinners.

My church prohibits open carry on their property, except LEO. I tend to agree with that, OC may be legal but there are some places it does not fit well. I know many conceal carry, some as part of organized “watchmen”, some as just ordinary pew warmers. Never an issue and I feel safer even if I am not carrying. It is actually amazing how few gun issues are in society once you remove alcohol and drugs from the mix.

  13. My church allows me to carry and I do. I pray that I will never have to use my gun but I believe that God helps those who help themselves. You must choose. Choose wisely.

  14. 2/3 of Deacons in some MD churches are armed.

The waters rose. When the man could have left by horse, he said no God will rescue me. When the boat came to rescue him from the second story window he said no God will rescue me. When the copter came to lift him from the roof he said no God will rescue me. He drowned. Then yells at God for not saving him. God said. I sent the horse, the boat and the helicopter. 🙂

  15. I’ve carried concealed at church for quite some time. My church is a small one way out in the middle of nowhere, with a congregation of around 30 or so….similar to the church in TX last weekend. Besides myself, the pastor and one other guy is armed. This morning, the pastor came up to me in private and asked, “You carrying this morning?” I replied that I was indeed, plus this time I had a spare 15 rd 9mm mag in my pocket. He said, “Good. You know, since the church massacre last weekend, I’ve re-evaluated my carry. I’ll no longer carry my .380. Instead, I’m carrying my 9mm…”. Then, he opened his sermon materials bag and showed me his Glock 17.

I think the change for me was 5yrs ago, when a kook came outta nowhere, walked into a small church 20 miles north of me, walked up the aisle, and pulled a gun on the pastor. Fortunately, he was tackled by several parishioners before he opened fire. THAT incident changed my ways.

  16. I would not expect a white liberal DC paper to do a front page story on the history of The Deacons For Defense and Justice, black christian men with guns, in the 1960s.
The white liberal press prefers to talk about the white communist influenced Black Panther Party for self-defense.

  17. Two things;

    1. Laws do not prevent bad behavior they only establish punishment for same.
    2. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven.

    That is all.

  18. All I needed to read was “All are welcome…”

CC or OC members. Nope. White supremacists. Leave.

All are welcome. Til they’re not.

  19. I’ve never understood the idea that the way to create a peaceful society is to let the violent people kill the peaceful ones.

  20. Colbert King does a beautiful job illustrating how the Progressive mind works on altruism, fantasy, and emotion:

“Consider what we are giving in to. Some may call it reality. How about resignation? To think: gunning up and hunkering down in a house of God.”

Altruism says that we should not have to be armed in church. Therefore, we are going to deride anyone who suggests that we should be armed in church.

“To return peace to our houses of worship and communities, we need to start by fixing our gun laws. We need to restrict access to those deadly weapons, keeping them out of the wrong hands …”

Fantasy says that laws will fix our problems, that we can actually stop bad people from accessing firearms, and that we can return to peace.

“We need to keep faith that things can be made better … in the spirit of loving our neighbors as ourselves.”

And finally emotion says that we will all FEEL better with LOVE.

  21. The Washington Compost concerned with the lives of those who attend church ie. “the faithful”? Now THAT’S rich.

  22. anyone else notice the gay flag at the top of the church bullitin (Sic)?
Hey, progressive snow flakes: “Many will cry Lord, Lord, did we not do great things in your name? the Lord will say depart from me cursed I DID NOT KNOW YOU!”
    Abreviated (sic) version.
So THAT churches opinion means squat to me. next!

  23. democrats commit 80% or more of the murders in America every year.

democrats commit 98% or more of the mass killings in America every year.

    America has a democrat problem.

And the democrats think they are going to disarm the rest of us. lol !!!

    • I’m glad somebody else noticed the pernicious democrat infestation.
Prisons are mostly full with democrats.
Democrats always think they are entitled to redistribute other people’s stuff even if it requires force.

  24. Didn’t I hear a while back some wacky idea from the gun-control crowd that an unarmed person could take down an active shooter while they were reloading?

Wonder why that didn’t happen inside of that church? I mean it wasn’t a very big church, surely someone could have run over and stopped the shooter during one the reported more than a dozen magazine changes.

Just thinking out loud here…. Maybe being armed and returning fire would be more effective?

  25. ALL BS Aside these are the the horrible devils straight from hell that want to see more people slaughtered by leading sheep to slaughter with no means to defend yourself!

We all have a GOD Given Right to Defend ourselves! F all of those ignorant dangerous people who have never experienced carnage living in their rich guarded mansions.

“If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That’s ridiculous. If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid for.”

Be not that far from me, for trouble is near; Haste Thee to help me.Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war,
    and my fingers to fight.My goodness, and my fortress;My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I trust;
Who subdueth my people under me.O my God, I trust in thee:Let me not be ashamed,Let NOT mine enemies triumph over me.

  26. Yes, make all Churches gun free zones so people know, with certainty, that it will be easy to murder the sheep inside without retribution.

  27. another so call religious person that has not read his, its, bible, especially the part about the Messiah instructing his followers to buy the assault weapon of the day.
while it is not recorded whether people took arms into the synagogue we know Disciples carried them! checking arms at the door was instigated by the priests of yore for their protection! surely God wasn’t intimidated by a few paltry guns
our own persecuted ancestors carried guns to church and even formed Militias
this self righteous Prick wants to feel safe but does not want too trust god nor provide for is own defense
so he can abrogate his personal authority of his own protection thus soothing his conscience by it not being his fault
