We’ve officially reached “peak content,” people. So you’re forgiven for not knowing that Daytime Divas is a fictionalized version of The View that airs (for real) on a network that used to run wall-to-wall middle-of-the-road music videos. And just for fun, “real” celebrities guest star on the fake talk show, including the real hosts of The View.

Speaking of blurred reality, in the episode below . . .

The blond conservative known as Heather — who’s something of “a” Heather — informs her liberal co-hosts that she’s packing heat. She whips out a revolver called “Fancy” and reveals that she stores it in her purse (without a holster) that she stashes in a locked drawer secured by the kind of key that teens use to secure their secret diary.

On the positive side, Heather displays excellent finger and muzzle control. On the oy vey side, everything else. Like “Nina’s” analysis of defensive gun uses during the chat show segment:

“Heather, the argument that you and your NRA friends make that guns deter violence is absolutely ridiculous. Guns are almost never used in self-defense. And when they are, they always result in a more dire outcome.”

“Almost never” as in all the time. Successfully. Wait. If a fictional character spews fictional firearms “facts,” should a tree in the forest land on her head? It might make a sound (and good TV) . . .

Anyway, here’s the episode’s denouement, summarized by newsbusters.org:

Later in the show, Kibby takes Heather’s gun and points it at a guest of the show – a co-star from a hit show back in the day when Kibby was a child star. The adult actor plied her with drugs and acted inappropriately with her and other young female actors so Kibby is upset to learn her kid sister is cast in a new sitcom with him.

Trying to protect her sister, Kibby aims the gun at him and Ramona (Sarah Mack), a production assistant, tackles Kibby to the ground. The gun goes off, of course, and shoots Mo’s new handbag and also Jason Abel (Adam J. Harrington), the network president. Jason gets grazed by the bullet as it hits his butt. In the end, “No guns” signs are placed around the studio.

Basically, we’re looking at a drama built around fake news on the fake set of a fake talk show written and acted by real liberals. One thing it’s definitely not: funny.

  1. That’s as bad as it gets that is absolutely horrible. That’s as bad as this so-called resistance movement. What the hell are they resisting the fact that there contestant didn’t win in the elections.

You know when my son was 4 or 5 years old used to throw Tantrums when he didn’t get his way.

I dealt with that like every mature adults should and explain to him that throwing a tantrum is not the way to get anything. And a little discipline as well. He later thanked me, years later once he became an adult for being his father and not his friend when he was a child. Now we’re really good friends.

These liberals they’re like a bunch of four-year-old children whining and crying and bitching and moaning all because Hillary Clinton didn’t win it’s like the end of the world to them.

I’m almost 50 years old and I’ve had plenty of Republicans not win the election that I was voting for them and I never acted in such a childish emotional disrespectful way in my life.

Absolutely moronic educated idiots is what they are.

  2. OK RF I’ve pretty much decided to cut back at commenting on TTAG clickbait. Now if I WIN a gun…?Oh and my “required fields” keeps disappearing. Annoying.

  3. This is pathetic. I’ve never heard of this show as most of us on this site. But I can’t believe that someone would think to make up a fake talk show of a bad talk show. How pathetic.

  4. I was never much the TV type, but people wonder why cable is getting cut more and more often. Crap like this would happen to be why. Flipping through channels of garbage to get to something that’s just meh and not great doesn’t get justification for a $100+/month bill.

  5. And when [guns] are [used in self-defense], they always result in a more dire outcome.

For once, gun grabbers actually stated a bona fide fact! Yes, when a victim uses a firearm for self-defense, it always results in a more dire outcome for the attacker. And that is a good thing where I come from!

  6. “Later in the show, Kibby takes Heather’s gun and points it at a guest of the show…”

They’re afraid of people having guns, because they think everybody will act like they do, with guns.

  7. Liberals & progressives are addicted to lying.
It’s the Opiate of the Left.
They would rather lie than be paid lots of money to tell the truth.

    • Well, they are currently being paid lots of money to lie, so I imagine they are doing fine in that regard.

  8. I am so done with reality TV. Especially scripted shows done in the style of reality TV. I don’t know whether the above mentioned show falls in the latter category, and I don’t care.

  9. I can’t help noticing that even here, in the progbots’ own fictional world, it’s one of the enlightened liberals that veers into uncontrolled violence (compounded by theft, I might add), not the conservative gun owner.

It seems some truths can’t be denied.

  10. I’m going to assume this fake talk show is set is NYC…so confessing to a felony on live TV is consequenceless. So is ad-assult.
