TTAG’s Luis Valdes is on the ground in Tallahassee today covering the Big Pro Gun Rally at the capitol.

Gun rights supporters from Florida and neighboring states are there to hear from speakers like . . .

…Hickok45…

…and Mark Robinson, plus many more. Luis estimates the pro-gun crowd at About 500 at its peak. That’s three to four times his estimate of the anti-gun turnout.

Also, let it never be said that he only looks at one side of an issue. Luis goes out of his way to seek out opposing viewpoints to report on both sides of an issue.

Luis may be the first human being in the history of the world to coax an actual smile from David Hogg. Such is the power of gun rights supporters.

Luis will be reporting in more depth after the event. Stay tuned.

  1. Not sure if you saw but Kait Bennet tried to have a word with The Pig after she spoke and he ran away lol

  2. If I were Luis , I don’t think , no I know , I would not want to stand next to that pig ” I meant Hog ” heHog is a Dispicable little shit that deserves one thing : a good old fashioned spanking. Bare ass leather belt , bent over a table type like we received when we spoke of adult issues that we should have learned to keep our mouths shut about. The kid is a turd !!!

    • Using the water bottle in Luis’ backpack as a point of reference, Esoteric Inanity would estimate that he is between 171-175cm (5’7.5”-5’9”) while David is around 183-187cm (6’-6’1.5”). Granted that said picture isn’t a full body shot and not straight on. Also neither subject is exhibiting excellent posture. Now if hickock45 were in the picture……

      • Hickock is a giant. I mean I knew he was tall, but I’m 6 feet and he towered over me. He always talks about having big hands in his reviews, but shaking his hand was like shaking hands with someone wearing a baseball mitt.

  3. Did D. Hogg know who you were, Luis? And man, I thought for a moment you had a rifle slung across your back.

  4. I popped over to the anti-gun rally just to check crowd size…it wasn’t even close. Our side had waayyyy more people.

    • With any luck, FL politicians will take notice of the difference between true grassroots and Bloomberg financed and orchestrated AstroTurf.

      • “..With any luck, FL politicians will take notice”

        Sadly no.

Absolutely ZERO media coverage of the event down here in South Florida. Friends in Central Florida said the same. Hard for politicians to take notice when their media handlers aren’t showing them the reality on the ground

    • Kinda almost makes one feel sorry for the kid. It’s no wonder that the boy lapped up all the attention lauded upon him and turned into a ranting loon as things progressed.

Self-loathing personality+low self esteem+reasonably intelligent+a moment of fame and notoriety+unscrupulous people ready to use him for their cause=a very bleak future for Hogg when the lights fade away.

  5. Floridians don’t show up to the Capitol in large numbers, except for buses of Soros bots. Part of that is the location of Tallahassee. The Florida GOP is pretty anti gun and with 40 senators covering well over 20 million people, it will be extremely difficult to pass meaningful pro gun legislation, large rally or not. The so called “gun shine” state is anything but.

  6. David Hogg? Smiling? With a gun rights supporter?! Nah, I call photoshop. Photoshop or temporary Hogg hypnosis.

  7. 500 is not bad. When I went to TN rally this year, 30 people or so showed up at Nashville.
    It was sad.

Cold dead hands? Can’t even show up for a Saturday rally. It’s sad when MagPul has to give away a $8.99 (discount price) PMag for free to have people turn out.

It’s like Cold Dead Hands are no better than Socialists screaming for FREE stuff provided by someone else.

    • “..It’s like Cold Dead Hands are no better than Socialists screaming ”

Except some of us Cold Dead Hands crowd have to work for a living. And some of us don’t have ‘normal’ work weeks that allow us to drive ten hours to join a rally, then drive ten hours home to get back to work.

Yes, there should have been more people there, but don’t write-off those of us who couldn’t simply because you could.
