All 17 employees at a Houston-area shooting facility received tickets to Game 7 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals, KTRK-TV (ABC Channel 13) in Houston reported tonight.

Top Gun Range’s owner bought 17 Game 7 tickets and the range shut down early Wednesday.

“We’re gigantic Astros fans, as you can tell,” said Kyle Harrison, Top Gun Range’s general manager. “So we’re super pumped, man. This is going to be awesome,” KTRK reported.

Getting inside Wednesday’s Game 7 required some spend. The lowest price for resold tickets was around $300, various online sites reported.

  1. Baseball??? Game 7??? World Series???
It Almost as bad as making me watch the entire WNBA final.

Next time buy me a gun please….. I’ll even take a yeet cannon over baseball.

  2. Good for them. There should be more professional sports and gun store relationships. Let the people see that gun people are normal, nice, average, regular guys. Not a scary, insane mass-murderers-in-waiting guys. We need better public relations advertising.

    • Agreed. We really need to see more, in news and social media, good news stories related to guns. Most gun owners are good-hearted, freedom loving people, contrary to what is usually depicted in the media.

  3. Too bad the Astros lost. I didn’t care until the disgraceful treatment of our president in DC…nice they got tickets!

    • The team didn’t mistreat Trump. DeeCee is chock full of craven Dimocrats and impeachment monsters. Trump knew what he was in for. Bless him, he doesn’t care!

    • DC is like 90% Democrat, 5% socialists, 5% independents and 1% Republicans.

Any small crowd of DC residents is going to have a dozen people saying “Fuck the nazi [insert name of any GOP president].

  4. Well if everyone there is a fan and thrilled by it, it works. So that’s a cool thing to do.

Wouldn’t be for me though. The cash as a bonus would be far more helpful.

  5. Classy move by the Houston gun range owner to gift his employees with tickets – too bad for them that the Nats won! But it was a classic Series and the employees no doubt got full value for their tickets. As to the Series, I sat up to 0130 to watch the game and all the post-game stuff. And then get up at 0500 to go to work. But it was worth it. As to the booing of President Trump at game 5, all I can say is that the fans in the stands at Nats Park Series games were not normal Nats fans who come to the games through the regular season. The Series fans were rich folks, lawyers, politicians, corporate execs, well-to-do residents of lib/prog neighborhoods – people that could afford the outrageously high ticket prices (I heard $800/ticket for standing room at Nats Park) charged for post-season games. And they mostly all come from DC, Northern Virginia and the People’s Republic of Maryland, so what did you expect? They can’t override their politics even for a classic sporting event.

    • Spot on. Bring Trump to a Nascar race in Bristol, and he’d get a standing ovation. Different crowd. D.C. went for Hillary by 96%.

  6. American League doesn’t play baseball. The pitcher is a player and a player bats, end of story. End the DH. It adds another layer of complexity into the game when the pitcher bats.

  7. good for you kyle. Heard alot about your facility on Michael Berry, Hopefully I can visit your facility in the future.

  8. World series tickets for $300? Wow, how the great have fallen. There are football teams where its difficult to get a regular season game ticket for $300.
