I’m the guy whose anatomical description of the Subaru Tribeca SUV’s front end forced a redesign (and ended my car review column at The San Francisco Chronicle). As someone who loves him some Remora holster, I’m not going there again. Although I suppose I just did. In any case, ShotGunShanni is VERY excited about the way cool holster’s new interior colors. How great is that?
I don’t get it. I just checked. With my XD(M) in the holster, I can see approximately .5 square inches of the inside lining. If it was colored, I’m not sure I’d be able to tell.
She didn’t specify the upgrade charge, so I checked their website, but there’s no listing for it yet.
What kind of no life person could possibly get excited by the color of the INSIDE liner of a concealment holster?
I can understand this woman’s desire to creat a buzz as it appears she sells them.
But why would anyone care what color the outside ( much less the INSIDE ) is of an item that must be concealed from view?

For many things the exciting part is those brief moments when the concealed is revealed. I think, though, the metaphor of the gun and holster for that other two-piece ensemble is being over-played.
Women care about a label inside if their heels. I can’t tell a $25 pair from a $1000 pair. From talking to my fiancé though, they like to know what’s inside, even if others can’t.
If they’re blood red on the bottom, and she’s the type to drop several (6+) hundred dollars, they’re Christian Louboutin. Thus ends my women’s shoe knowledge.
Why put a pink lining inside a holster the outside of which is supposed to be invisible?
Alan Bogdan is a good guy and makes a great IWB holster, but c’mon. This is cheesy.
Hmmm. Conflating the vision of the pink-lined holster with what the remora fish does for a living necessitates that I (with a nod towards TTAG resident lawyer, Ralph) must “stand mute before the bench” on this one. No open exchange of ideas for me this time, sorry.

When she showed the pink lining, I immediately thought there is no way I’d buy one used.
It could be difficult to get the gun out probably because a “pistol” already went off in it.
The pair of Remora Tuckables that I ordered arrived yesterday. They just had the bland black linings, just like my standard Remora holsters.
I was going to type a review of the new tuckables this weekend, but after seeing that pink lining (and I thought the same thing as Aharon), this may be too hard of an act to follow.
I might not want the camo interior; I might lose the holster in my pants!
As far as the purple lining, now I know for sure what happened to Barney!

The pink one is great… Except for that one week every month, and don’t let it see you with another holster.

This post is full of win. I’m not sure what’s funnier: the comments, or the fact that I know there are some regulars looking down their nose and scoffing at the “inappropriateness.” To them I say, “Lighten up! Zimmerman/Martin has made it much heavier than usual around here this week, and we’re just blowing off steam.”

I carry my LC9 in a De Santis Nemisis pocket holster, unfortunately it doesn’t look like a ……..
BTW: Having a really difficult time finding a way to carry the extra LC9 magazine…which is a must have…last night it fell out of my belt and landed on the floor of the bar/ Good thing every drung was wong.
Any ideas on the mag holster???
The Remora tuckable mag/light holders are supposed to be dandy…

There is a Remora #4P holster (choose you lining color carefully ! ) for the LC9 that also has a mag pouch. That is one of the Remora’s that I commonly carry. I have the large sweat shield option on my 4P.
