Second Annual Washington, DC 2A Rally Goes Virtual, Announces Speakers

Last year’s inaugural 2A Rally held on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC featured dozens of speakers and focused on the message that we are the gun lobby. Just days after the second annual 2A Rally announced that permit restrictions have lead to the need to shift to a virtual rally this year, the organizing committee has announced its first group of speakers for 2020.

The line-up for the October 24 even includes returning speakers from last year’s inaugural event, held on the West Lawn of the US Capitol Building, and newcomers. The biggest name in this first announcement is well known conservative gun rights advocate Dana Loesch. Other first-time speakers include:

Tim Peterson, a military veteran who grew up in the neighborhood of South Minneapolis recently ravaged by civil unrest.

Amanda Suffecool, host of Eye on the Target Radio and part of the DC Project Foundation.

Rebecca Schmoe, Gun Rights and Freedom advocate who was recently the host of the “To The Republic” podcast.

Klimt Macro, firearms skills instructor, founder of Trigger Presser’s Union and key figure in the fight for Gun Rights in Western Pennsylvania.

Returning Speakers announced today include:

Eric Blandford (iraqveteran8888), Top Shot Season 4 Champion Chris Chang,  and Maj Toure (founder of Black Guns Matter).

This year’s 2A Rally will be broadcast live on October 24th. The event will offer thirty speakers with a greet deal of thought diversity addressing the topic of celebrating and defending the rights protected by the Second Amendment.

“Racist gun owning trump supporters riot in DC streets”

lol. However, open carry or it’s pointless. If you are going to rally for guns rights, then fucken do it. All this “We will not comply” while complying is as useless as the rally in VA.

    1. avatar Draven says:

uh, the VA rally open carried, news flash.

      1. avatar Baldwin says:

Annnnd…stopped northam’s “assault weapon” ban cold!

      2. avatar Ing says:

And complied with every ridiculous restriction the governor placed on their First and Second Amendment rights, so that the lawn in front of the capitol was half empty and all the badwrong open carriers were shut out in the streets where legislators couldn’t see them and news cameras didn’t have to show the inconvenient truth to the public.

Of course the Democrats went ahead and did whatever they wanted. They knew their opponents would allow it and their donors would love it.

Say what you will about BLM and antifa (I’ll probably agree with you), but they’re proof that intimidation gets results.

        1. avatar Baldwin says:

They wanted an assault weapons ban. They didn’t get one. The democraps did NOT do what they wanted.

        2. avatar GS650G says:

Watch what they do next session.

        3. avatar Ing says:

Hmm… i wasn’t aware of anything they really wanted that they didn’t get. One thing is better than nothing, I guess.

And here in the getting-less-great-by-the-day state of WA, we didn’t have any coherent protests or resistance at all when the stupid anti-gun scheme passed a couple years ago. It’s hard to get heard when you’re outspent 100 to 1, and it’s kind of hard to decide where to gather when it’s your fellow voters that are doing it to you instead of a few dozen jerkwads in the statehouse.

But we do know who planned and bankrolled the whole thing and where they live (everybody does; they’re famous). I’d be up for a friendly protest march on some would-be oligarchs who are far too fat and comfy for their own good.

        4. avatar Rokurota says:

No assault weapons ban, although they’re trying again.

You know what’s different between Antifa and us? We respect the law. This was the only time I’ve gone unarmed for that long in public. I “took the hit” so I could speak with legislators while everyone else could strap up and show force that way. Unlike these other “peaceful protests,” we left Richmond cleaner and in better shape than when we arrived. So “comply” with idiotic laws? Hell yes. We are not Antifa or BLM.

        5. avatar The Crimson Pirate says:

Ing, back in 2014 Washington state gun owner did not comply right in front of everyone

    2. avatar TechGuy says:

Open carry at a virtual rally? Hell, you can pile ’em chest high on the table. Only your family will think you’re a lunatic! I’ll be polishing my favorite AR, a couple of 1911’s, maybe a shotgun or two…..

    3. avatar MAKE IT SO! says:

SO ur so full of UTOPIAN Ideas why don’t u make this happen….& we will all attend.

    4. avatar doesky2 says:

They’re missing the main person we want to hear from………Kyle.

  2. avatar Rusty - Always Carry - Chains says:

Virtual Rally will be ignored by press and politicians. Likely to be interesting to POTG but it won’t get the attention that is required to put pressure on the politicians. All politicians need frequent reminders that we aren’t happy with their failures to remove pointless and unjust gun laws.

  3. avatar D.J.U. says:

This is cool, but I tell you that it’s going to need alot more powerfull people that Congress and the Senate will recognize and pay attention to. Mabey a few pro gun Democratic and Republican Congresspersons and Senators that they’ll listen too. It’s going to take powerfull voices to get past Bloomboogers money and those organizations supported by him and others that follow in their shadows. As we all have seen, money is the power, and not the Constitution when it comes to the politicians and political agendas of getting reelected.

  4. avatar Baldwin says:

I’m gonna have a gun give away. The gun of your dreams, just name it! Now, not so fast there Sparky. The prize is gonna be a “virtual” gun. Not quite the same adrenalin rush, huh?

Virtual 2A Event is an oxymoron. Live people mean things and get things done. How you say things can deliver more impact than what you say. People mean things. Real, live, in person people. Just like the Richmond Rally. Virtual 2A Rally? Not worth the effort.

“”I Acted In Self-Defense”: Portland Murder Suspect Makes First Public Appearance After Deadly Shooting”

“The suspect in last weekend’s murder of Aaron “Jay” Danielson says he acted in self defense when he fired on the “Patriot Prayer” supporter.

In an interview with freelance journalist Donovan Farley provided to VICE News, 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl – a former military contractor and father of two who claims to be “100% Antifa” – says he was providing “security” at Black Lives Matter protests, when he says he believes he and a friend were about to be stabbed.

“You know, lots of lawyers suggest that I shouldn’t even be saying anything, but I feel it’s important that the world at least gets a little bit of what’s really going on,” says Reinoehl.

“I had no choice — I mean, I had a choice. I could have sat there and watched them kill a friend of mine of color. But I wasn’t going to do that.”

Reinoehl has not been arrested or charged, and Portland police declined to say if he is the target of its investigation into the killing of Aaron “Jay” Danielson, who was taking part in a pro-Trump rally with an estimated 600 trucks winding through the city that night. But in a conversation with freelance journalist Donovan Farley provided to VICE News and airing in full Thursday night, Reinoehl said he believed he and a friend were about to be stabbed, and that he acted in self defense. -Vice”

Interesting strategy. It will work in Portland whichnlike Seattle is rapidly becoming a separate country

      1. avatar Geoff "Guns. LOTS of guns..." PR says:

Rather fascinating he hasn’t even been charged yet.

…unless the ‘message’ is that Antifa can murder with impunity…

Well he just got sent to hell, Goof. Keep up.

“Well he just got sent to hell, Goof.”

You knew something and provided zero detail. That’s nothing to brag about, fuckwit. Well, except to point out to the rest of the world what a moron you are. 🙂

Here’ I’ll do your job for you, since you are incapable of doing it yourself :

Murderer of Patriot Prayer member Aaron “Jay” Danielson shot dead by FBI and US Marshalls

“Michael Forest Reinoehl, who appeared to admit to murdering a Trump supporter last weekend in Portland in a Thursday interview with Vice, was shot dead by law enforcement later that evening as they attempted to arrest him in Lacey, Washington, located southwest of Seattle.”

“According to Lt. Ray Brady of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement was in the area looking or a homicide suspect, and that the 48-year-old Reinoehl was seen exiting an apartment and entering a vehicle, according to the New York Times.

“As they attempted to apprehend him, there was gunfire,” said Brady.

According to the Associated Press, Reinoehl pulled a gun during the incident, after a federal task force from the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service located Reinoehl.”

The only thing worse that a gutless POS troll like you is a lazy, gutless POS troll.

Don’t make me do your job for you again, jizz-stain… 🙂

        3. avatar Durrrrr says:

          Bahahahabaha. You mad asshole?

    2. avatar Ing says:

Yeah, those Trump supporters totally were going to stab somebody…eventually…with the violence of unwoke silence, or maybe even sharp words. They had to be stopped!

Antifa crapsack rolls up and assassinates a guy for minding his own business while wearing the wrong hat? Self defense. Young conservative puts out arsonists’ fires, gets chased down by a mob and has to shoot 3 people that are actively trying to kill him? Murder.

Everything is backwards in progtard clown world.

      1. avatar Geoff "Ammo. LOTS of ammo..." PR says:

“And…what do you know? Sometimes they almost get what they deserve.”

I’m very happy he’s dead, but I’d be a lot happier if it could have been proven in a court of law he was guilty of cold-blooded murder.

Now his little Antifa buddies can lie about how he only killed him in self-defense. The humiliation of a conviction of murder and facing life in prison and anal rape would have been much nicer… 🙂

        1. avatar LarryinTX says:

I’m waiting for the riots and looting to start.

  6. avatar LifeSavor says:

I do not understand. Move the rally to a gun-friendly place. Attract lots of people, in person. Stimulate the economy of that gun-friendly place. No excitement in a virtual rally…no reason to attend…watch the video’s later.

I like gun rally’s, Trump rally’s, health-freedom rallys. I go to them whenever I can.

  7. avatar possum says:

I do not know, but killing people in the streets over party choices seems extreme to me, has this ever happened before in America’s history?

    1. avatar LifeSavor says:

A long time ago, we had a party at one of my sister’s homes. Lots of people, lots of drinking, some illegal drugs, also. My sisters all consumed a lot of beverages and they are nasty drunks. Unlike my brother and I, we just get friendly. Anyway, loudness erupted in a most unpleasant way and threats were made. In the following weeks, no bodies were found, but my sisters were uncharacteristically quiet.

So, I suspect the answer to your question is ‘Yes’.

      1. avatar possum says:

Yeah had party’s like that too, but that’s not what I was shooting for. What I was asking was has any election been so fucked up before. I tried in my first post to be articulate but evidently whiskey and articulation don’t mix.

        1. avatar Baldwin says:

“…has any election been so fucked up before…”

  8. avatar BLAMMO!! says:

How about painting a “political slogan” that’s visible from space on First Street.

  9. avatar GS650G says:

If the democrats take over this will be the 2nd and last event of its kind.

  10. avatar Hannibal says:

In somewhat unrelated news, the guy that shot the Trump supporter (patriot prayer or something) got waxed by cops showing up to take him into custody… after Vice somehow did an interview with him first.

    1. avatar possum says:

Really, NOT, secret cell operations disrupt peaceful protest, BLM is legit. I’ve worked for Nixon’s gov(. “stolen” false documents to sell to the Rueskins via gov g3 clearance during the fall of South Vietnam, oh and I’ve helped blow a lot of people up,then uncle sugar shit on me.) Osama bin Laden was not buried at sea, Paddock was not killed by the saviors, Lee Harvey Oswald was set up , Moses was an Egyptian plant and Isreal has lost its power to the Chinese. ,,,, But America will fight it’s race wars, by gawd. Eyes Wide Shut.

  11. avatar SK Skeeter says:

Just to get the comment back on track. The purpose of the rally is show support and build awareness of our cause. It is to show a united front on this issue.

Let the mainstream media and other opponents say negative things about it or us. We, the POTG, should stand together whenever we can , wherever we can.

This like this are small battles in the cultural war. You don’t know who may hear the message and become a champion years later. Things like this help to humanize us to people on the fence.

In NY state, I believe, children under 18 can’t attend gun shows. What happens when the progtards start making stuff like this 18+ only? Or marginalize us to the point where it has be hosted on the dark web? Exercise your constitutional rights, all of them, early and often. Or they may just go away.

    1. avatar possum says:

Dream on, do you actually think the Government, whatever that is, gives two shits about what We want. Global Economy,,,,shouldn’t the U.S.A.’s minimum wage be $25.50 just to keep things in perspective, uh huh, global Economy, America is number one, we’ve got the best of everything compared to North Korea. Trump Pence 2020 or whatever

      1. avatar possum says:

Not North Korea you idiot, Burma, the country that became the opium leaders of the world with the help of the U.S.A. to destabilize the rise of the nggrs , can’t have the Black Panther Party doing what they set out to do. U.S. gov wants them drugged , boozed , ignorant and on a welfare check.

  12. avatar Wiregrass says:

Virtual railly? Only the faithful will get any message at all. I guess that’s why it’s so close to the election. I’ll be in the woods, hopefully dragging out something dead.

  13. avatar 1SFGSFC says:

Meaningless. Unless you’re in person making them sweat (politicians), it’s a waste of time. You have to “show” them you mean business and will not comply.
