President-elect Joe Biden had a rare moment of clarity when it comes to gun control. He’s got a really big obstacle, called the Constitution.

The president-elect spoke with civil rights leaders in a virtual meeting. An unknown individual recorded the session and the media got a hold of it. What President-elect Biden admitted was enlightening.

“I am not going to violate the Constitution. Executive authority that my progressive friends talk about is way beyond the bounds…there is a Constitution,” President-elect Biden is heard telling the meeting attendees. “Our only hope and the way to deal with it is, where I have executive authority, I will use it to undo every single damn thing this guy [President Donald Trump] has done by executive authority, but I’m not going to exercise executive authority where it’s a question, where I can come along and say, ‘I can do away with assault weapons.’ There’s no executive authority to do away that.”

Not a King

Short answer: President-elect Biden knows he’s not a king. He can’t rule over subjects. He must govern his fellow citizens and the document that gives him that authority also limits him from unilaterally grabbing up rights from American citizens – also known as “the People.”

The American Republic was structured this way by the Founders for this very reason. The Executive Branch is charged with running the country, but its authority is checked by the Legislative Branch, or Congress. Its also checked by the Judicial Branch, which itself, is checked by the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch.

No single branch of the three pillars of government gets full sway. It’s called the Separation of Powers doctrine. The Founders built it this way so all three are accountable to “the People” who put them in a position to represent their interests and there are checks and balances on each branch of government.

That’s why President-elect Biden also lectured those on his virtual meeting to cool the heated “defund the police” rhetoric. It’s not helping his cause to win over the final two U.S. Senate seats, which would give him a unified Legislative Branch that’s aligned with the goals of the Executive Branch.

In other words, President-elect Biden was telling the civil rights leaders to slow their roll with vilifying cops, so they can get the final seats needed to flip the Senate. Then, they can ram through whatever legislation they want, including blowing up the filibuster, packing the U.S. Supreme Court and enacting unconstitutional gun control laws.

“I just raise it with you to think about how much do we push between now and January 5 – we need those two seats – about police reform. But I guarantee you, there will be a full-blown commission. I guarantee you it’s a major, major, major element,” President-elect Biden said.

That doesn’t mean an incoming administration is deferring out of respect for the U.S. Constitution. It is just the opposite. He is telling his supporters to lay low, bide their time and those gun control promises from the campaign trail will come if they can deliver U.S. Senate seats allied with their cause.

Gun control supporters are growing impatient. Antigun billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety is demanding a “raft” of gun control immediately. They don’t care about the Constitution, protected rights or the legislative process.

Specifically, they want to criminalize private firearm transfers, regulate precursor firearm parts and funnel tax dollars into federal studies to back their claims for more gun control. They would have President-elect Biden use Executive Orders to force these changes without the consent of Congress. Just yesterday both President-elect Biden and vice-president-elect Harris called for Congress to pass “common sense” gun control.

Sounds Autocratic

One columnist, Bambi Majumdar, appearing on the website MultiBriefs, wrote that Biden-Harris administration gun control is “…not going to be a problem for law-abiding gun owners. The problem would only exist for troublemakers. Biden, a gun owner himself, supports a stricter interpretation of the Second Amendment. His focus isn’t banning all guns but assault weapons…”

Bambi Majumdar
Bambi Majumdar (courtesy Twitter)

Majumdar claims the gun confiscation plans presented on the campaign trail aren’t a problem because they only affect the owners of the 20 million-plus modern sporting rifles in circulation today, the most popular selling centerfire rifle that’s used daily for lawful purposes. President-elect Biden claimed to own two shotguns – a claim he made when he berated a union worker for questioning his Second Amendment commitments – but no one has seen them.

He  once advised people to buy a shotgun, and told his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, to “fire two blasts” if there’s a perceived threat. There are photos of him in a squirt gun battle with his grandchildren. There’s no proof, to our knowledge, he’s part of the gun-owning community.

Majumdar has other infringements both she and the president-elect think aren’t so problematic, including rationing gun sales, banning the manufacture, sale and import of standard capacity magazines, criminalizing private firearm sales and banning online ammunition and firearm sales, even though those firearm transfers must be completed in a face-to-face transaction with a proceed approval from the FBI. These are among the ideas that are being bantered about for executive action. That means gun control by edict.

Majumdar is wrong and she knows it. President-elect Biden knows these are radical overreaches of a Chief Executive who would be drafting these orders beyond the scope of his authority. Yet, that’s what he campaigned on. Americans, by his estimation, have too much freedom and need to be reined in. He told America he was the one to do it. Now, he’s expected to deliver.

When a leader acts alone without the consent of “the People,” it’s dictatorial. It’s despotic. It’s tyranny. Ironically, it is the entire reason the Second Amendment was protected by the Constitution. It was to protect the people when a leader ignored their rights.

  1. Biden may or may not respect the constitution, it’s a moot point! When and if he does reside in the oval office, it wont be for long. With comments like that, theyll make sure his tenure is even shorter.

    • Dennis Sumner,

With comments like that, theyll make sure his tenure is even shorter.

      Agree completely.

The actual power brokers of the Democrat Party knew that they would have to steal the election and they knew that they would have to generate a boatload of fraudulent votes to do it. They also knew that the fraudulent election results would have to be passable enough to avoid a full-blown national melt-down. The only Democrat candidate who fit the bill was Biden which is why the Party power brokers ensured his nomination.
Saying it another way, the Party power brokers knew that there was no way the masses would accept any of the fringe candidates legitimately winning the election.

Thus, the Democrat Party put Biden forward. Of course he was just a vassal to ensure that the Democrat Party could secure the White House. Now that he has served his purpose, the Party will promptly cast him aside if he fails to advance the true tenants of the Party.

      • Would you stop with that non-sense?

The Democrats didn’t steal the election. If Trump hadn’t been such an asshole, he’d have won.

His policies were supported by a lot of Americans, and unlike a politician, he thought he had to try to deliver on his campaign promises. But his ego keep overshadowing everything he did.

There’s screw ups in every election, from dog catcher to president. That doesn’t mean there’s a conspiracy. You know why I know there’s no conspiracy? Because it would take too many people to pull it off.

        • I’ve seen too many so-called conspiracy theories become daylight reality in the last few years to accept that at face value.

As for the idea of election fraud and cheating in genereal, there’s coordinated fraud and uncoordinated, small-time cheating, and you can be guaranteed that both of them go on at some level somewhere in every election. When the stakes are high (and even when they aren’t), people will cheat; it’s human nature. Anybody who tells you no one could possibly be cheating is almost surely the worst cheater in the bunch.

This time, literally everyone who had an opportunity on the Democrat side — and the opportunities were massive and begging to be taken — took theirs. “By any means necessary” was the message, and it was received loud and clear.

Was it really enough to steal the presidential election? I lean toward yes…but…

But unfortunately, we’re probably never going to know for sure, because CYA is another universal human tendency, and it’s in full force here. The judges and election officials who could have let investigations go forward or provided full transparency are more interested in maintaining the appearance of a perfect system than ensuring it has real integrity. They can’t let anyone pursue fraud allegations because it would make them look bad.

In so doing, they’ve widened the cracks and undermined the entire foundation. And the rot continues to spread.

        • Yes the rrot continues, especially when paid Republican operatives attempt to intimidate an election official and get the wrong guy.
One of the main Republican techniques is indeed dirty politics, just like they did last year in North Carolina.

And still no real fraud evidence, that’s weird.

TX Lt. Governor Dan Patrick offered up to a million dollars to anyone with credible tips on voter fraud. That was Nov 10th, no takers yet. Funny that none of these hundreds of whistleblowers chose to take him up on his offer.

The fraud is being perpetrated by armed and violent Republican operatives, who will be going to prison in the near future.

“HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A former Houston Police Department Captain was arrested and charged for running a man off the road and pointing a gun at his head in an attempt to prove claims of a massive voter fraud scheme in Harris County, according to a news release from the Harris County’s DA’s office.

Mark Anthony Aguirre, 63, was arrested by Houston police Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

“He crossed the line from dirty politics to commission of a violent crime, and we are lucky no one was killed,” Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said. “His alleged investigation was backward from the start – first alleging a crime had occurred and then trying to prove it happened.”

According to court documents, Aguirre told police that he was part of a group of private citizens called the “Liberty Center,” who were conducting a civilian investigation into the alleged ballot scheme.

According to Aguirre, he had been conducting surveillance for four days on a man who was allegedly the mastermind of a giant voter fraud scheme. Aguirre told authorities the man was hiding 750,000 fraudulent ballots in a truck he was driving.

Instead, the victim turned out to be an innocent air conditioner repairman, court documents said.

Aguirre ran his SUV into the back of the truck to get the technician to stop and get out, according to court documents.

When the technician got out of the truck, Aguirre pointed a handgun at the technician, forced him to the ground and put his knee on the man’s back until police came, the court document said.

Aguirre allegedly directed police to a parking lot nearby where another suspect, who has not been identified, took the truck.

According to court documents, there were no ballots in the truck. The truck was filled with air conditioning parts and tools.“

        • “If Trump hadn’t been such an asshole, he’d have won.”

You don’t hire a street fighter to clean up the town, then refuse to pay because he lacks good manners. The only people I know who refuse truth because of how it is delivered are driven by emotion, and not to be trusted.

BTW, yes, Trump is poorly mannered as a traditional politician, an honorable and good loser. Would anyone here, after 4 straight years of abuse, refuse to lash out, and call things as they are? Why do people demand of others what they will not countenance? Abuse me for 4yrs, and I will not dish up a cheese blintz response, either.

        • @AR L

          I call B.S.

Thousands of people were on the Manhattan Project and that secrecy held for years. Individual Democrats have let small pieces slip into the open over the last couple of weeks, months, years and the MSM has complicity ignored any and all such accidental lapses of secrecy and policy as “nothing to see here…move along” (Hunter Biden’s criminality is just the most recent game piece exposed with almost zero reporting). Swalwell in bed with the Chinese…crickets chirping. Biden’s obvious mental impairment – those same darn crickets. Sooo many examples of malfeasance, lying and willful obstruction…

      • “(Hunter Biden’s criminality is just the most recent game piece exposed with almost zero reporting)“

I love coming back to these comments, always good for a laugh!

Hunter Biden, oh yeah he’s guilty, but there is zero evidence to support any charge against him…

Even Attorney General Bill Barr says no need to investigate hunter, no evidence of crimes.

Oh no, wait a minute, Trump’s attorney general is part of the conspiracy as well!

Quick, call Sidney Powell and tell her to release the Kraken!

Oh, she already did? Turns out it was just a hermit crab…

  2. And this is supposed to make me feel better,
Just take a look at his cabinet picks,
That alone is enough to make a person nervous…
AMERICA as we know it is about to radically change me thinks. Hope not but between Kamel Toe & Sleepy Joe, & China, it’s going to be a rough ride…

  3. democRats like Biden are scum-sucking fools, and I want to marry one. But he must be white, cause I’m all about racism.

    • The forum’s resident pervert is using my name again…I wonder if Dan Zimmerman could find out who that little man is? Perhaps.

      • It appears that TTAG would rather Eff their site up so no ones reads it or comments, if that is what they want perhaps they shall receive it.

        • “It appears that TTAG would rather Eff their site up so no ones reads it or comments, if that is what they want perhaps they shall receive it.”

Commenters here bear some personal responsibility. Don’t want your handle hijacked? Create an Avatar.

  4. Like Biden said…if the Progressives control all three Branches then the Constitutional issue is moot.

Bambi is a bimbo…to her violating the Rights of 20 million people isn’t a big thing…what is her next “reasonable” step?

      • Just sayin’, I don’t know about that…. I only bought one complete AR …I built the rest from stripped lowers. I doubt that these are counted in gun sales. After you finish swapping out triggers, forends, barrels, charging handle, furniture, etc., you might as well just build the damned thing to begin with. It’s cheaper. Likely, many of us never bought more than one complete AR.
As for 80%’s, I have no reason to own a gun without a S/N. I have the machine tools but, not the time. And, if I ever had the urge to sell one (not likely), you can’t. There may be a day when you can’t even will it to your kids!
I think the gun sales statistics are a ridiculously LOW estimate of the number of AR’s in existence.

        • BTW, On a rather uncomfortable drive out to the farm, I tried to explain to my wife that these “military” weapons of war that fired 1000 rounds/sec. of baby seeking, exploding 50cal. bullets with “the shoulder thing that goes up” were just like her 9mm …they only fire one little bitty .22 cal. bullet with each pull of the trigger. She wasn’t buying it…. insisted they should be banned and confiscated. I had to have my cousin talk her into trying it.
It wasn’t until 90 rounds later (with a big smile on her face) that I told her that it was HER gun, the only complete AR I ever bought.
That’s TWO American citizens with AR’s that only count as 1 gun sold.

        • If it ever occurs that you cannot sell a rifle without a S/N, buy a hammer and a set of number punches and give it a S/N. What’s the problem? Pretty sure all my guns have S/Ns, but nobody knows what they are, why would I care? Your problems are not the numbers, they are the REGISTRY!

  5. They’ve just committed treason in an attempt to stage a coup against America. Do you think the constitution is an obstacle to them?

    • Thank you JWM for stating what should be obvious.

And to emphasize how accurate your point is, Democrats will control both the federal Justice Department and the United States House of Representatives. Thus Democrat President Biden (and any Democrat successor) can and will order the Justice Department to NOT investigate/prosecute election fraud — or anything else for that matter which would hurt Democrat objectives. And because Democrats control the U.S. House of Representatives, they will NEVER issue articles of impeachment against the Democrat President of the United States for ordering the federal Justice Department to quash any investigations/prosecutions of Democrats.

And we haven’t even considered the nefarious possibilities if Democrats win in Georgia and take back the U.S. Senate.

Our nation will experience very dark times indeed.

        • “The Democrats have had 150 years since the last civil war to perfect electoral fraud and voter disenfranchisement.”

Here is something to ponder: a person can be a “dyed-in-the-wool” Southerner, and not be a Democrat.

        • “@Sam, I’m actively raising my hand to be counted there.”

“Concealed means concealed”; surprise has power of its own.

Old Japanese proverb: “The nail that sticks up gets hammered.”

        • They seem to have succeeded! At least for now…. Joe Biden himself said, “We have built the greatest organization of voter fraud in history”. See, every now & then, even Joe Biden tells the truth! It doesn’t happen very often.

        • “See, every now & then, even Joe Biden tells the truth!”

Then picks himself up and carries on as if nothing happened.

        • It IS time to fight back!

I donated to my local Republican candidate Jeanne Ives, Trump, Lindsey Graham in S.C., GA Republican party, GOA, VCDL, IL State Rifle Assn. …and NRA (but not recently). If Don Jr. DOES serve at NRA, I’ll be back on the donor list.

It won’t do any good to shoot anybody. You’ll just get arrested and persecuted to the full extent of the Democratic Agenda (never mind the law). Inmates don’t usually make large political donations.

        • When I die, I could donate my spine to the Supreme Court …on second thought, maybe they should cut it up and send a few vertebrae to the Supreme Courts of WI, PA, GA. A couple of vertebrae is more than they seem to have.
I’d donate my balls but, they don’t seem to work as well as they used to. I guess they’ll just have to “grow a pair” of their own.

        • “Joe Biden himself said, “We have built the greatest organization of voter fraud in history”.“

That is not what he said and you are quoting it out of context.

But if that brings you pleasure, carry-on!

          Happy Holy Days!

    • jwm aren’t you just the hypocrite. Yesterday you were promoting using the military to commit treason. Why don’t you lead the teason you promoted yesterday? You won’t because you don’t leave your basement.

      • Also. As a soldier I swore an oath. The same one that all soldiers swear. In it is a line about enemies foreign and domestic. The bidens tick both slots.

No treason for the military to honor its duty and obligations.

        • Don’t flatter yourself. You’re just one of the resident gas bags here. Enjoy your life. No, get a life.

        • Says the guy that comes looking for me to kick him around. You didn’t have a daddy, did you? Now you look for dominant males to drop kick you around.

        • Police and military could end up fighting each other over an order to seize civilian weapons: those who took their oaths seriously vs. those who would do anything to get their pensions.

          Both sides would have nukes….

  6. Biden is sticking his neck way out with the radical left. They will not be happy with the idea he has any regard for the Constitution, even lip service. He could have just ended his presidency before it began. His “supporters” will be encouraged to have him step aside and put Harris in his place. They will be doubly incentivized if GOP wins Georgia.

Biden’s “supporters” know full well that violations of the Constitution take years to be resolved in courts, and time shores up the usurpation.

    • Sam I Am,

[Biden] could have just ended his presidency before it began.

Shortly after the election, I predicted that Biden will be out within a few months and Harris will take over. (Whether Biden resigns for “health reasons” or Democrats force him out via the 25th Amendment I have no idea.) I further predicted that Harris will actually remain somewhat low-key until the 2024 election to ensure her second term. And make no mistake, she will win a second term — quite likely without fraud because millions of women will feel obligated to vote the first women into the Office of President of the United States in order to “break the glass ceiling”.

And this, I believe, has been the Democrat plan all along. They know that no one — not even Donald J. Trump Sr., can beat a sitting President Harris (who was low-key during her partial first term) campaigning for a second term. That is the key to ensuring her reelection. Once she is reelected, then Democrats will go full-blown far Left and implement everything on their wish lists — including ending the cloture (filibuster) rule in the U.S. Senate, adding several Justices to the U.S. Supreme Court, and granting statehood to the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. At that point Democrats will be unbeatable and Republicans will never again win the Presidency or have a majority in the United States Senate, House of Representatives, or Supreme Court.

      • Someone pointed out that Don Joe, of the Biden Crime Syndicate, has to serve at least one year and a day before the whore can replace him and then run for two terms on her own. I don’t know if that’s true or not but it doesn’t really matter. I posted before that none of this matters if the communists steal GA. Elections will be perfunctory lip service with the outcomes pre-determined.

        • ” serve at least one year and a day ”

Two years and a day. If SloJoe doesn’t make it that far, the Ho would finish out more than half of his term, and that would count as a full term for her — thus, she only gets one more term.

        • “Someone pointed out that Don Joe, of the Biden Crime Syndicate, has to serve at least one year and a day.”

The ten year limit* requires Joe remain for two full years.

        • Thank you. I merely related something someone else had posted. Didn’t bother to check. We are still holding out hope that the election is thrown into the house.

        • “I merely related something someone else had posted.“

Well, I think I found your problem! Y’all just keep posting the same drivel over and over again, without any fact checking or connection with reality but only because it feels ‘truthy’ to you.

The very definition of a right wing echo chamber.

And with this comment I’ve earned the greatest complement of all:

          “Your comment is awaiting moderation‘

        • lol Miner, that’s some funny stuff. One gun guy says something wrong and another one corrects him. The first says “thank you” and adjusts his line of thinking. Never have I seen harder evidence of an echo chamber in my life!!!!!

Good job bud, you got us all!!!

      • ” And make no mistake, she will win a second term ”

I don’t know. She did very poorly during the primaries — just OK out the gates, but fizzled fast. The voters, even in her own party, just don’t like her. She won’t take a solid stand on anything and she’s got the personality of a rattlesnake. Maybe a couple of years with SloJoe will season her out, who knows? But, if I was a betting man — and I am — I wouldn’t put anything down on the Ho at any odds.

      • “Shortly after the election, I predicted that Biden will be out within a few months and Harris will take over.”

I just hope the radicals are stupid enough to push Joe out in a few months….Harris can hold office no more than 10 yrs. Swapping Joe for Harris in a few months would prevent Harris from running for a second term.

        • Sam,

“Harris can hold office no more than 10 yrs” As if one more Constitutional restriction will keep the DNC from violating the same Constitution that they already have repeatedly violated.

        • “As if one more Constitutional restriction will keep the DNC from violating the same Constitution that they already have repeatedly violated.”

It will be interesting to watch Dims explain that there are invisible caveats and “common sense” provisions in the 22d Amendment.

BTW, we are seeing first-hand how empires die.

        • “It is what WE say it is” The Constitution is a Living Document subject to daily interpretation…don’cha know.

        • “It is what WE say it is” The Constitution is a Living Document subject to daily interpretation…doan’cha know.”

Kinda like, “The law should be stable, but not stand still.”

        • @Sam

That’s exactly what the Democrats are going to do…stable the Constitution like a lame horse while they work on fixin’ it up the way it should be…when the Constitution is all nice and modernized we’ll have the Utopia that the Communists have been promising for over 100 years (it’ll work THIS time because WE‘re in charge…not that Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Kim Jong-un and a host of others haven’t given it their all and failed).

        • “That’s exactly what the Democrats are going to do…stable the Constitution like a lame horse”

          Nice pivot, there.

        • “…wait till you get a load of the hoe’s VP choice!”

C’mon, man; don’t play keep away. Who is it? Who is it? Woncha tell me? Woncha tell me?

    • You know what? I’m still waiting for that thing about Obama having a plan to make himself President For Life. When’s that supposed to start anyway?

      • Any day now, all the right wingers will be rounded up and placed in the detention cells beneath the abandoned Walmarts.

You will all be forced to swear allegiance to Allah on the Koran during your gay wedding ceremony before the statue of Satan.

The more attractive members of your party will be given the honor of performing hours of oral sex upon Barack Hussein Obama as he laughs with delight.

        Jade Helm is REAL!!!

        • Miner, for every one of the caricatures you’ve sketched above there’s a real life leftist standing on a national stage explaining how he or she (or it or they or whatever) will be confiscating my property, appropriating my hard-earned income, reeducating me for wrong think, canceling me for speaking as I like, censoring information they’d rather I not know, organizing American citizens into approved and disapproved classes, redefining words to suit their fancy, and changing long-established rules of governance for their own convenience. Forgive us yay-hoo redneck reactionaries if we sometimes take people like you at their word. Maybe we’re foolish for believing you (after all, you’re proven liars), but somehow I sense more than a little truth in the threats you continually level at us.

        • Miner69er is a fanboy of a system built on lies, maintained by lies, and enforced by lies. The members lie to themselves and each other. Lies go up the system because nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news. Decisions are made on incomplete, incorrect, and/or distorted information, and then handed back down for implementation.

        • “the threats you continually level at us.“

Nappy, exactly what threats have a leveled against you or anyone else?

        • @49her

Again you show your true nature…by prefacing your response with a derogatory word relating to African descent peoples…ur not a very efficient troll for the Bidenites….careful, you can be replaced by a different, more caring, SJW.

        • Hey, merry Christmas, OG!

Nope, no racial slur, he goes by NAPRESTO and the diminutive of that is nappy.

I know people named Napoleon, and their nickname is of course, nappy, no offense.

I really have no idea as to the ethnicity of NAPRESTO, and it’s not really important to the discussion.

I would say it would be a racial slur if I had, like the conservative radio host, called him a “nappy headed ho” but that’s the sort of thing that the conservatives do, I generally refrain from such language.

In any case, Happy Holy Days!

        • @49er

…and a Happy High-Holy Days back at ‘cha.

Kind of presumptuous of you to assume what NAPRESTO’s diminutive form is. The proof of the Progressive pudding is what people, perceive from your remarks…my perception (and that of my spouse – a POC) is that your comment was socially insensitive regardless of your attempt to backtrack. No saving face this time…your comment is just as socially offensive as the “nappy headed ho” comment. According to your* mindset, one event irrevocably marks one as tainted forever…you are damaged goods to your employers as your “woke” credibility is shot to heck. You and Imus are equals on this occasion…you are an avowed Racist! **

*your – plural, as in: both your personal and the official Progressive mindset.

** unless, of course, your alter ego is Ralph Northam.

      • ” I’m still waiting for that thing about Obama having a plan to make himself President For Life.”

Hhhhmmmm. Interesting. Never heard/read that before. Thought it was Trump’s next move…that never happened.

    • Hi Sam! I’m angry! There will be no “UNITY”! They’re “UNITY” is our suppression! I’ve donated to as many Republican campaigns and 2A groups as I can (see below). We can’t all be there. I work 7x12x365 in a small business supplying medical software to military and civilian clinics, hospitals, etc. It’s not easy work. Money talks! I send what little I can to help the cause.
You know I tend a bit toward “conservative”.
      See you again!

      • Sam – BTW, I do get to the range. It’s 12 min. down the road from my office. I have an annual membership. I try to rotate the guns. Always start by brushing up on the guns I carry. Then, it’s AR’s, .308, sometimes the 1911’s, etc. We sell systems installed on computers so, I have a small machine shop at the office to machine wall mounts. I reload mostly at home but, keep one press for .38spl at the office. IL Controlled Pheasant area is 1 hour south on the road in front of the office. If it’s a slow day….
        Be safe! See you!

      • “There will be no “UNITY”! ”

This is what the 1850s looked like; no unity. Wish I could find the source, but read that a well known person of the time said something along the line of, “When two factions of society are unalterably opposed as to the future direction of the country, I see no solution but armed conflict.”

Of course, they were of sterner stuff in those days.

  7. Don’t worry progressives, Harris is waiting to take over. She didn’t take the job just to break ties in the Senate and do little projects from time to time.
    She’s planning her accession.

  8. Probably safer to be a gay man in Wisconsin than in Somalia but still not fun to be around a bunch of angry Muslims wanting to toss you from a roof.

  9. Biden has to last until the midterm. Harris could only run for election once if she takes office before then.

However, I don’t trust anyone who says they only believe in the 2A to an extent. You either support it or you don’t. A bit similar to being kinda pregnant.

We are in for a ride, it will get bumpy for sure. I have my popcorn, hot chocolate and sweet tea for this.

    • Oh, now that is interesting. I will have to research that and verify if your statement is correct. If it is, God help us all to survive 10 years of a President Harris.

      • “If it is, God help us all to survive 10 years of a President Harris.”

It won’t be 10yrs if the radicals shove Joe aside in the first six months.

      • 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

        22nd Amendment

        • FormerParaTrooper,

Excellent — thank you for the clarification.

As others pointed out, that means Harris could be President of the United States for 10 years (minus one or two days to satisfy the 22nd Amendment).

Given that new information, I am changing my previous prediction. Democrats will do everything possible to keep Biden as President long enough to satisfy the 22nd Amendment requirement which allows Harris to be President for 10 years (minus one or two days). That has the added advantage of potentially helping Democrats shore up their majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and potentially even obtain a majority in the U.S. Senate in the 2022 midterm election if Democrats keep a relatively low profile.

Once past the 2022 midterm elections, then Democrats can go full-blown far Left.

        • “Democrats will do everything possible to keep Biden as President long enough to satisfy the 22nd Amendment requirement which allows Harris to be President for 10 years…”

Kamala (Kam-ala, Kamla, Kammy, whatever) already announced her plans for “the Harris administration with the help of Joe Biden.” Putting my money on the inability of leftists, socialists, authoritarians, dictators to restrain themselves, and getting power as quickly as possible.

Obama was half-and-half (black and white), Harris is more dangerous…full brown who will be the first “African American” woman to be president. Imagine the revenge for dissing her (calling her AA will be the major bone thrown to BLM, etc).

        • U_S, you ignorant slut. You don’t even consider the possibility that the fix is in to include Hairyass adopting Hillary as VP after tossing Biden in Feb, then the Camel in 2024, Hillary in 2028 with AOC as VP. After that nobody will much care, most thinking people will have emigrated to Somalia to escape the crime and taxes in America.

And Sam, there is *zero* African in the Camel, she can never be African American.

    • “However, I don’t trust anyone who says they only believe in the 2A to an extent. You either support it or you don’t.”

      I like 2A absolutists !!

      • I have a respect for those men who debated, who dreamed up a Republic and set to paper the ideas enshrined in the Constitution and the BoR. I am absolute on the complete document.

        • “I am absolute on the complete document.”

One has to be quite hardened to be an absolutist; there are some unpleasant consequences to be endured. Prolly why so few people are truly “absolutist”.

    • Nope. Obama comes first, not Harris. He has a plan to keep himself President For Life. That’s why the SCOTUS refused to hear the Texas-Trump case, because that was the trigger the Obama Coalition had planned for and was waiting for.

Those Trump appointees got their signals crossed!

  10. I’m saying “No!” to the lot of them.

The Federal Gov’t and Creepy Joe can go jump in a lake. Take SCOTUS with them. Not listening or respecting anything they have to say.

I will not comply and I will resist strongly.

  11. You will know the exact moment his time is up when the MSM does a hard news story on his China connections. Ie Hunter appears….

    • Yep…I will add(even if I get lampooned) we are headed to the end of America. And by extension the world. 10 years of Kamaltoe?!? Your out of yer damn mind. America is at an end. China rises. An Anitchrist emerges. JESUS returns. The dims stole an election. We cower in our homes & wear a mask. And most go along to get along. Sigh…

      • Certainly no “states rights” but the Democrats would no doubt like to reinstate their “peculiar institution”.

        • “…but the Democrats would no doubt like to reinstate their “peculiar institution”.”

They never really gave it up.

  12. Brown shirt bambi should get a box and go door to door demanding residents put their guns in her box. The blabbermouth bambi should not be surprised when some resident plants a frying pan on top of her insane Jim Crow Gun Control head.

  13. and no one is standing up screaming doing anything about it. there is no support in congress, no republican figurehead, no lawyer heading a lawsuit, no new organization to push for protective legislation to support our rights.

    • What courts have done to protect elections from fraud amounts to a twerp hearing his neighbor beating his wife and doing nothing.

  14. The Supreme Court just ignored the Constitution when they refused to hear Texas’ lawsuit concerning the election. The Constitution has been warped and tortured over the last century by wannabe tyrants. But most of all it’s been ignored. A right for abortion in the Constitution?? Gay marriage?? And what about “shall not be infringed?” Those four words are probably the most ignore in the entire Constitution.

Once Empress Cameltoe gets into office, she will just ignore it. She’ll call the bluff. She’ll rule “assault weapons” illegal. Will the Constitution fight back? No. The Constitution is just a piece of paper. Who will step up?? Republicans?? What a joke.

There is a time fast approaching when WE will need to step up. Step or shut up.

  15. As Joe and the Commie Hoe are antithetical to a Constitutional Republican form of government,I can fore see a hot civil war in the offing.

  16. It’s is fortunate that America has Biden at the helm and China as the world leader.
Don’t Spill the Masters tea. ( old Cambodian proverb)

  17. That’s a smoke screen at best. Respecting the Constitution means all of it, not the part that defines your job as President.

Having respect includes the Supremecy clause which states the Constitution and laws passed in agreement with it is the supreme law of the land and JUDGES are bound by it.

Add in the Second Amendment’s limit on the government to not even commit minor infractions along with the 4th and 14th amendment, an honest President would say the only thing they can do would be to promote community level gun safety and responsibility training, especially in regards to child in a home with firearms. Advanced militia or self defense training could be promoted as well as work with states to remove gangs from the country. Constitutional training for all police at every level of government could be promoted. Noticed I said promoted. The bully pulpit can be used to encourage or persuade these activities, not enforce or fund it.

But the federal government is highly restricted as to what it may do, and even more restricted in what it may not do. We have allowed the shift of money and power to Washington D.C. whereas the 9th and 10th amendments should be enforced by the states often and without let up as it was the people who made the states and the states made the federal government. All government is here to serve the general well being of citizens, which includes being secure in the exercise of their rights.

Or as the Bible puts it, government is to bear the sword against evil and to promote the good of good citizens. Being able to live life freely without fear of ourselves, our freedoms or our pocketbooks being molested is the highest good I can think of. Government that punishes the good citizens is in rebellion to the Creator from which we claim our rights come from. Fortunately our form of government derives its power and authority from the citizens and we have the right to set our government right, but that takes effort on our part.

  18. Look guys, Joe said once we get a shower we’re gonna meet up with our family members and be placed in housing and all this is going to be sorted out…….

  19. Joe Biden’s brain is riddled with dementia and it will end his term in less than 1 year. That is when Kamel-Toe-Harris takes over and she will show just how big of a bitch she is.

  20. Majumdar claims the gun confiscation plans presented on the campaign trail aren’t a problem because they only affect the owners of the 20 million-plus modern sporting rifles in circulation today, the most popular selling centerfire rifle that’s used daily for lawful purposes.

Correction…it only affects black people in the ghetto. Same with “rationing gun sales, banning the manufacture, sale and import of standard capacity magazines, criminalizing private firearm sales and banning online ammunition and firearm sales”.

Nobody is going to upper-middle-class suburbs to enforce these laws. It is only going to be enforced in the ghetto and maybe the barrio.

    • Every President for the last 5 or 6 decades (at least) have violated the Constitution freely, including the last one. Why should anyone be different now? Why I refuse to vote for anyone with an R or a D behind their name. The two parties are corrupt to the core and only care about their party and not the country.

  21. Another unfortunate victim of TDS, the infection rate is especially high in red states.

There are some indications that a severe cognitive deficit underlies many of the more acute symptoms.

“A former police captain who was part of a private citizens group investigating still unsubstantiated 2020 election fraud claims was charged Tuesday with running a man off the road and pointing a gun to his head two weeks before the election, the Harris County district attorney said in a statement.

Prosecutors say former Houston Police captain Mark Anthony Aguirre said he believed the man was transporting fraudulent ballots.
“I believe it’s a political prosecution,” Terry Yates, Aguirre’s attorney, told CNN affiliate KTRK.
Prosecutors say Aguirre was paid over a quarter million dollars by a private group called “Liberty Center for God and Country” to investigate alleged ballot schemes in the Houston area.
Jared Woodfill, the center’s president, told CNN the group and Republican activist Steve Hotze hired a private firm that included “Aguirre, a former FBI investigator and about 20 investigators that investigated reports of voter fraud,” reports that were sent to Hotze. The Republican activist was also one of the plaintiffs who filed a petition prior to Election Day seeking to invalidate 127,000 ballots cast in drive-thru early voting. A federal judge rejected that request.“

    • What do these three things have in common?
1 The US govt experimented with using the fog in San Francisco todisperse biological agents.
2 The NSA is monitoring the phone calls of US citizens.
3 There was election fraud in the 2020 Presidential election.

      • All three are correct, to one degree or another.

Operation sea spray in 1950 has been proven through archive evidence.

Snowden claims seems to validate NSA phone surveillance.

Police reports indicate that Mark Anthony Aguirre may be guilty of election tampering and intimidation.

        • What Aguirre did was unhinged but not election fraud. Funny that you and the rest of your ilk have gone all three monkeys when it comes to actual fraud.

  22. About that “common sense” gun control …

They center around several topics: gun show loopholes, internet sales, universal backgrounds checks, and red flag laws. Gun show loopholes …

Brady Is about Common-sense Gun Laws … ?
    bradyunited.org/legislation

++ No matter WTF they end up calling “common sense” gun control, you object, they say you’re way off base because what they propose, or just do by executive order is, or was – just “common sense” .

    act.everytown.org/sign/support-gun-laws-that-save-lives-mj/
Join us now. Help fight the NRA, pass sensible gun laws, and put an end to gun violence in America. Build Safer Communities. Fight Gun Trafficking. Fight For Change. Pass Background Checks. Hold Leaders Accountable.

All the above, everytown.org talking points, Biden and the left will repeat over and over and continuously.

    brainwashing & mind control techniques:

Get ready for these and others. This has already been going on for several years. Beware of OBAMA and his communist minions.

REPETITION – Going through the same subject over and over again until it is known by heart. “common sense” …
PEER GROUP PRESSURE – Suppressing doubt and resistance to new ideas by exploiting the need to belong ”Join us now”.
REJECTION OF OLD VALUES – Accelerating acceptance of new lifestyle by constantly denouncing former beliefs and values
CONFUSING DOCTRINE – Encouraging blind acceptance and rejection of logic through complex lectures on an incomprehensible doctrine
NO QUESTIONS – Accomplishing automatic acceptance of beliefs by discouraging questions

  23. Chances of Biden winning Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin ~independently after Trump’s early lead is less than one in a quadrillion: 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000.

Chances of him/Biden winning ~collectively[TAKING FOUR STATES INTO ACCOUNT] is one in a quadrillion >>> to the 4th power.

JUST THE STATISTICAL FACTS is all. They had to cheat; there no other way they could, seem to, win.

Even so, 49er, and so many lost buffoons on the left will always believe Biden won ‘fair and square’. MAGA folks will always know the election was rigged/stolen.

It’s similar to when JFK was assassinated. All knew that the course of history, the future, had changed that day. So Vietnam and LBJ’S disastrous time as POTUS came. It’s so much worse this time with puppet/fool Biden to come with crazy/radical lefty Kamala to follow. The rise of China, and wars in the future are assured. This ain’t no TDS infection thing. Just give it a little time. Things will unravel quickly under Biden.
