The campaign endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden by Everytown for Gun Safety—the gun prohibition lobbying group bankrolled by anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg—is “All gun owners need to know about the man who wants to be their next president,” the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.

The Associated Press reported Everytown’s endorsement on the eve of “mini-Super Tuesday” primary elections in a half-dozen states, including Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri and Washington.

“There’s nothing subtle about this endorsement,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “Everytown President John Feinblatt told the Associated Press that Biden’s gun control record is clear. Biden supported the Brady Bill in 1993, he opposed the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, and he’s backed every gun control measure to ever come along.

“On top of that,” Gottlieb continued, “embracing gun ban extremist Beto O’Rourke recently in Texas was clearly a warning that if he’s elected president, Biden will make good on his threats to make radical gun control a top priority.”

The Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund already promised to spend at least $60 million during this year’s election cycle to help put more anti-gunners in office.

“It comes as no surprise that Everytown has endorsed Biden,” Gottlieb noted. “When Bloomberg left the campaign trail, and subsequently threw his considerable wealth behind the former vice president, the writing was on the wall that Bloomberg will do everything in his power to put Joe Biden in the White House. As we saw in Virginia last year, buying elections has become Bloomberg’s stock in trade, except when it comes to his own failed candidacy.

“Joe Biden has never been a friend to gun owners or the Second Amendment,” Gottlieb observed. “Everytown’s endorsement cements Biden’s Second Amendment assault credentials.”

With more than 650,000 members and supporters nationwide, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (www.ccrkba.org) is one of the nation’s premier gun rights organizations. As a non-profit organization, the Citizens Committee is dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States.

  1. So Everyclown supports O’Biden Bama. Does he know? Will he remember? Is his fly open? Does he think his sister is his wife? Is he still running for the Senate? When did they move Super Tuesday to Thursday? Can he actually beat Reagan in all thirteen states? Does the White House have a nursing home wing? Is any child in America safe from that hair-sniffing old goat? Does he get a senior citizen’s discount on Depends?

These are the kinds of questions that keep me awake at night.

    • Imagine the panic that would consume his administration every time Pres. Biden (that’s only a fictional scenario, folks, so please refrain from sending your hate mail) was scheduled to meet with a conglomerate CEO or foreign dignitary. There would be Post-Its all over his bathroom mirror with reminders of his own name, what day of the week it currently is, the sky is blue, etc. just to prepare for the real details.

Jimmy Carter has his jar of peanuts on his desk.
Ronaldus Magnus had his jelly beans.
Biden would have a dish of ginkgo biloba capsules.

      • Reagan was an old senile fuck and things went just fine with him shitting himself while holding down the chair behind the resolute desk!

        • You are clearly a youngster who didn’t grow up in the ’80s and witness how he turned America around, rescuing us from the abyss under Carter’s leadership (a Democrat), rejuvenating the economy, restoring American pride, and facing down the Soviets, challenging Gorbachev to “tear down this wall”. Soon after, the Iron Curtain fell, the U.S.S.R. collapsed, and we entered into a decade of prosperity.

Don’t rely on public school textbooks printed after the turn of the century to give you truthful information on the Great Magnus.

        • I personally remember Reagan mostly from caricatures in communist state owned newspapers as during his time I lived with the ‘opposing side’. Looks like commies hate him as much today as they did in ’80s.

Today I watched this video from his days as one of many Republican presidential hopefuls.
          https://youtu.be/lTyZAul60ok
I couldn’t find one idea he proposed in this interview, that I couldn’t agree with.
Smaller government that does only what it was empowered to do by the Constitution?
          Lower taxes?
          Less regulations?
Self reliance on domestic energy sources?
          No strikes for government employees?
I would vote for this guy in a heartbeat. He even praised his opponents in the race for candidacy when asked about them!
He is head and shoulders above anything our contemporary political scene has to offer. Then again who knows… if they had Twitter at the time…

  2. I am trying not to put my finger on just why Beto was/is the least likable candidate for anything I have seen in a long time. Too me, Blago at his worst, was admirable, in comparison.

    • According to C S Lewis, you are better off with a thief than a SJW. The former just wants to steal your money. The latter wants to ruin your life because you don’t live the way he wants you to.

  3. The common denominator for progressive politics is fascism. The parallels between the two ideologies are just too close to ignore. Interestingly the nominal liberals (i.e., most of ’em) I run into are unable to define either progressivism or fascism.

  4. Bernie Sanders is 78. Has had a heart attack. Joe Biden is 77. He is showing signs of senility.
I want to know who both of their VP picks are???

President Trump is 73. He seems quite healthy and mentally fit.
    Trump 2020.

    • All true, but Biden could win. He could damn well win. Has a better chance than Bernie. For Trump haters, Biden comes off as safe. And there are a lot of Trump haters. Biden should be taken seriously.

    • Either will pick a black woman, doesn’t matter who, credentials don’t matter, don’t be a racist! And it is not POSSIBLE to take Biden seriously.

  5. Trump’s heroism in ’Nam, coupled with the fact he’s a morally upstanding self made man, make him worthy of our collective awe, deference and respect. MAGA for 1000 years!

        • That’s different.

When Biden was eligible for the draft, it was common for important men to either pay the $300 draft exemption fee or to find a substitute draftee who would report to the Army of the Potomac in his place. Biden, with his five deferments, had to pay some $1500 (that’s in 1863 dollars; Today, that’s $30,710.83).

    • In which war did you serve, Tonald? How many people your business employs? What have you ever done for this great nation?

Trump, such as he is, can be called one of the great ones judging by his results so far. And that’s not even considering his alternative.

    • As opposed to sleepy Joe, sucking at the government teat for near 50 years now, while accomplishing exactly nothing.

    • “The Everytown Endorsement is All Gun Owners Need to Know About Joe Biden” Agreed. Like most of us need to be concerned about MiniMike’s endorsement to be aware that Biden is against the Second Amendment, or America in general. Oh, well, have columns to fill, so…

  6. If Sanders won the nomination and presidency my hope would be that he doesn’t really care about guns. If Biden wins my hope will be that he doesn’t remember what guns are.

  7. Its well beyond me how any living person who hates Trump enough. Could or would consider voting for this senile buffoon of an imitation of a human being. Hes one of the lowest forms of living things on this planet.
Crazy Joe the jackass of all kinds.

  8. If you are a gun owner and you don’t realize…by now….that any vote for any democrat is a vote to end the 2nd Amendment…perhaps you should turn your guns in……..

    • Agreed. My suggestion to all gun owners is this: READ THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PLATFORM! It’s right there, black on white, they are not ashamed of their gun grabbing agenda and they do mean it.

      • Joe says what he’s told to say…the truth is he’s just a puppet with others pulling the strings…

  9. In most sources where I’ve read of Biden’s Everytown endorsement, they don’t make mention of the actual organization, either by name or even referring to it as a formal organization. They just report that Biden was endorsed by a collection of “current and former mayors.” That it’s an anti-gun group, or any kind of organized activist group, is completely ignored. Curious, that.
