Surefire XSC WeaponLight

With the tremendous acceptance of the latest micro-compact and subcompact concealed-carry handguns from world-class firearms manufacturers such as GLOCK, SIG SAUER, and Springfield Armory, SureFire is leading the way in tactical lighting for these weapons with an all-new WeaponLight family, the SureFire XSC.

The XSC benefits from four decades of innovation in a tactical lighting market segment that SureFire created, and it is expertly designed by the same engineers who delivered the duty-grade X300 WeaponLight. It is the definitive WeaponLight for serious concealed-carry handgun users and the world’s first premium WeaponLight engineered specifically for today’s best-selling micro-compact handguns.

XSC models are currently available for the SIG SAUER P365/P36XL, Springfield Armory Hellcat, and the newly released railed versions of the GLOCK G43X and G48. No matter which of these handguns you choose to carry, the XSC delivers the performance and durability you’d expect from the world’s most trusted tactical lighting brand.

FBI statistics show that the majority of violent crime happens at night, and it isn’t confined to evening hours. A poorly lit subterranean parking garage or shady alley can provide the perfect mid-day opportunity for bad guys to strike without warning. With the current level of criminal activity in U.S. cities coast to coast, having the capacity to neutralize a hostile threat to your life has never been a more urgent need.

The XSC adds capability and peace of mind when fitted to the handgun models for which it is tailor-made. Small size and increased magazine capacity have been overwhelming factors in the success of the P365, the Hellcat, and the GLOCK Slimline Series. The XSC completes these popular models like no other accessory, especially when they’re equipped with a red-dot optic. Its micro-footprint doesn’t hamper concealability, so you’ll have it with you when you need it most. It is a must-have accessory for the ultimate concealed-carry handgun system.

Surefire XSC WeaponLight

Weighing less than 2 ounces and measuring less than 2 inches in length, the ultra-slim XSC won’t hamper concealability or weapon handling. Its premium LED delivers intense white light that could save your life in a crisis.

No other premium-grade micro-compact WeaponLight offers the practicality of easy recharging like the XSC. Rather than relying on disposable batteries, its durable, quick-detach, lithium-polymer battery allows fast swaps, so your light never has to leave your weapon. An LED fuel gauge keeps you aware of how much charge you have left, and the included charger can accommodate two batteries at once to help you keep your XSC fueled and ready.

Having the right amount of light is critical in a high-stress situation. The XSC delivers 350 lumens of intense white light shaped by a unique parabolic reflector that provides a bright centralized spot with plenty of reach while also providing ample spill light. The XSC facilitates positive target identification, allowing you to read and react with confidence. Its light output can also disrupt the dark-adapted vision of your adversary, giving you a crucial advantage when your life is on the line.

Every feature of the XSC showcases SureFire’s reputation for innovation. Our intuitive, tactile switching won’t leave you fumbling in high-stress situations. Whether you need momentary- or constant-on illumination, the XSC provides the peace of mind of easy activation with either hand. Multiple gaskets ensure waterproof/weatherproof protection; the XSC is IPX 7-rated (1 meter of submersion for 30 minutes) for rock-solid reliability in wet weather conditions must-have reliability in the wettest conditions.

If you’re serious about your protection, there’s simply no other option than the Surefire XSC. You can trust it with your life. For more information, visit SUREFIRE.COM.

  1. I shoot bigger guns fast.
    I shoot bigger guns accurately.
    I conceal bigger guns fine.
    Therefore, I carry bigger guns.
    You do you.

  2. Surefire makes a nice product, i own a few lights but at 3 times the price of competitors I’d be more likely to try a streamlight or olight.
I’ll also be interested when one of flashlight geeks at candlepower forums does a runtime graph, if output is based on ANSI FL1 standard, down to 10% output in 30 minutes sucks.

    • Isn’t that run time expected for a concealed carry WML? Aside from runtime, output amd beam pattern, the one that interests me is the drop test. No doubt this Surefire will pass with flying colors.
If you like keeping your carry gun’s light’s battery full and topped off, I suggest the PL-mini. My pl-mini is still going strong after 3 years. The Olightstore seems to have crazy sales ever quarter.

      • True on the runtimes, the problem seems to be the push for more and more lumens on battery power that cant sustain it which why output is often reduced within 1 to 5 minutes after turn on. I’d prefer 150 to 200 lumens of sustained output.
I’d give that olight a shot at 90 bucks, decent price. Still high output, low run time but thats the current trend.

  3. Looks like the Streamlight TLR-7/7A in size, but I have to check the specs. I do like my Streamlight TLR-7. I would have bought TLR-7A, which was released a year later, with the high/low buttons as an improvement over the TLR-7. The rechargeable battery just does not last long thou.

  4. I like my Olight PL Minis on my Glocks. Same slim profile as the frame and a perfect 400 lumens setting so you don’t blind yourself when activating it in the middle of the night in the hallway.

  5. Why a weapon light on a P365 OR XL for that matter.

Really defeats the purpose of ultra=compact carry.

I just carry my Surefire E2D Ultra on my belt fitted with a thumb/finger lanyard of course. Hand held lights WITHOUT PROPERLY FITTED LANYARDS are only about 50% useful.

Surefire makes the BEST most durable lights in the business. I have a Streamlight TLR-1HL Weaponlight and a TLR-HPL Carbine Light that are as good or maybe better in some respects than Surefire offerings, but I will always want the best when MY life is on the line.

  6. The need for a private citizen to have a light on a CCW is overrated. If you’re being assaulted, raped, or robbed, the perp is right there, so target identification is trivial. You don’t need to go hunting through a parking lot trying to find the bad guy. You can think up some scenarios where it could be useful (bad guy snatches up your kid and runs in into a dark alley), but it’s not a must have. An EDC flashlight is much more likely to be used, and it can be substituted for a WML with a CCW gun if needed.
Clearing you home with your house gun is more likely to need a light. You should be fortifying a safe location if possible, but you may need to.go out and bring kids to the safe room, etc.

  7. I own a few Surefire lights. The stiletto is a home run. Some of the other handhelds are great.

$319 MSRP for a 350 lumen, 30 min run time light, proprietary batteries ($40~/ea) one battery, (you do get a charger, how nice of them) is a massive failure. The XC1 was a good item, but massively overpriced as well.
