“My rep is James Harrison, mean son of a bitch who loves hitting the hell out of people,” James Harrison tells mensjournal.com. “But up until last year, there was no word of me being dirty — till Roger Goodell, who’s a crook and a puppet, said I was the dirtiest player in the league. If that man was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn’t do it. I hate him and will never respect him.” Nor will we respect a man who shows callous disregard for trigger discipline. Unless he’s in the room with us. At which point we might ask, an FN FiveseveN and a Smith & Wesson .460 XVR Magnum? What’s that all about?

  1. His fingertips are on the side of the triggers? What the heck is wrong with his grip? Or does he have reeeeeaaaallly short fingers?
Onto your questions, it is simple. The S&W is in his strong hand and is used to shoot truly large people, like other football players. The Five-seveN in his weak hand is used to shoot us ordinary sized folk. It also makes sense that he only has 5 rounds in the S&W and 20 in the Five-seveN. After all there are more of us than there are of the brobdingnagians.

    • Actually, the 460S&W is probably the best hunting handgun ever made… explains why you can find 3 or 4 (or 6!) 500S&W’s (sorry Joe!) and not a single 460… I’ve been keeping my eye out though!

      • I’m told they have more felt recoil than a .500, and I have never even seen a box of .460 ammunition (and I live in Montana, we have a LOT of guns here). The only really good thing about them is that they can fire .454 and .45 LC. A BFR in .45-70 or a T/C Contender in .308 or .30-06 would be much better choices for hunting.
