GENESEO, IL May 1st, 2016 – Springfield Armory® is pleased to announce the Legend Series 1911 TRP™ Pistol. In cooperation with the Chris Kyle Foundation and the Chris Kyle family the company aims to honor the spirit of American Sniper and Navy Seal Chris Kyle while providing direct support to the foundation . . .

While in combat, Chris chose the Springfield Armory TRP™ for its reliable performance and toughness. In his words in best-selling book, American Sniper, he tells how that TRP™ may have saved his life.

“In 2004, I brought over a Springfield [Armory®] TRP™ Operator, which used a .45 caliber round. It had a 1911 body style, with custom grips and a rail system that let me add a light and laser combo. Black, it had a bull barrel and was an excellent gun – until it took a frag for me in Fallujah. I was actually able to get it repaired – those Springfields are tough.”

Springfield Amory® will produce one thousand TRP™ Legend Series pistols, each with a unique serial number ranging from CK0001 through CK1000. Separately, the company will laser engrave each pistol identifying its placement in the series.

The Legend Series pistols will come packaged in a custom and also serialized mahogany presentation case. Additionally, a memorial copy of the best-selling book, American Sniper, signed by Taya Kyle will accompany the package. The attractive presentation case also includes a .999 pure silver Chris Kyle limited edition challenge coin and a Springfield Armory® certificate of authenticity.

The MSRP of the Legend TRP™ commemorative edition pistol is $2,499, with a portion of the proceeds from each pistol sold benefitting the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.

The first pistol in the Legend Series was presented to Taya Kyle by Springfield Armory® CEO Dennis Reese at a ceremony during the 2016 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Kyle immediately announced her intention to auction this one of a kind pistol during the 2016 National Rifle Association Annual Meeting, with all proceeds to benefit the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. Taya Kyle will auction Chris Kyle Legend Series 1911 TRP™ Pistol #1. This auction will take place in Springfield Armory® booth #5823 at the NRA annual meetings in Louisville, KY.

The on-line auction will go live Sunday May 1st under Springfield Armory®’s charity account on gunbroker.com and will end at 3:00pm May 21st at the NRA annual meetings. Live bidding will start at 2:45pm in the booth. Persons who wish to bid live in the booth for this #1 Limited edition pistol can sign up in the booth at 2:00pm with a Springfield representative and receive a number and bidding paddle.

Taya Kyle will be present to award the winner (if winner is present) with the pistols along with Springfield Armory® President and CEO Dennis Reese. Upon completion of the auction, Springfield Armory® will also present a check to Taya Kyle for the full amount of auction proceeds.

The following people will sign the serial #1 pistol certificate of authenticity: Taya Kyle of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, Dennis Reese President and CEO of Springfield Armory®, Wayne LaPierre Executive Vice President of the NRA and Chris Cox NRA-ILA’s Executive Director.

Now run by Taya Kyle, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation supports members and families of those who serve. According to Taya Kyle, “One of the big benefits of doing this with Springfield Armory® is that part of the proceeds will go to the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to honor God, country and family by serving those who serve. To us, that represents the marriages and family life of our law enforcement, EMS, and military communities.”

“We’re very pleased to support Taya and the Frog Foundation,” explained Springfield Armory® CEO Dennis Reese. “When on deployment, Chris Kyle carried a Springfield Armory® 1911 TRP™ Operator pistol, so we felt it appropriate to make this special edition pistol to honor his memory and support the ongoing work of the foundation. Very much like American hero Chris Kyle, this pistol is truly one of a kind.”

The Legend Series pistols feature five-inch stainless steel match grade barrels, low-profile three-dot Tritium combat sights, and black and gray G10 grips with an attractive American flag engraving. The slides are forged carbon steel with Black Nitride™ treatment for durability and corrosion resistance. A National Match full-length guide rod rounds out the 8.6-inch long government model 1911. Each pistol ships with two seven-round stainless steel magazines with slam pads.

At the conclusion of the NRA Annual meetings shipments of the Limited Edition Chris Kyle pistols will arrive at firearms dealers throughout the country.

“The First Name in American Firearms,” Springfield Armory® was founded in 1777, when George Washington ordered the creation of an armory to store ammunition and gun carriages during the American Revolution. In 1794, the armory began to manufacture muskets and spent the next 150 years supplying firearms for every major American conflict. The original armory closed in 1968. • Well, I suppose that will be a great donation to the Foundation then. I’ll have to take a closer look to see what “meaningful interactive experiences” is supposed to mean.

      • They help provide Warrior Transition and Family Re-Integration experiences. These may help prevent divorces, domestic violence, and/or suicides among our veterans and first responders. Sounds like a good cause.

        • A cause that will see about 0% of the money if the Kyle family’s previous charitable endeavors is any indication.

  1. I don’t think he even carried a 1911 on deployment (according to his book). I guess the name sells.

  2. Great for shooting at unarmed civilians and all males aged 18 to 60.

Also good for shooting made-up carjackers and Katrina looters.

      • You’re right, who knows why Kyle had his ghostwriter write the “shoot all males aged 18 to 60” line in his book.

        • You seem to think that there is some sort of moral problem with shooting terrorists. Armed or otherwise.

        • Except Kyle didn’t say “terrorist”. In his book, his ghostwriter wrote, “all males aged 18-60. If you see one, shoot them”.

So either Kyle lied, or he was a war criminal. I like those options.

    • And now, direct from his mother’s basement…

The original post didn’t have enough troll, you felt the need to edit?

        • I’d offer a counter, but I was taught it’s unsportsmanlike to enter a war of wits with an unarmed opponent.

        • >unarmed

Heh. You failed to recognize Kyle’s own words, then offer absolutely no response to the highly detailed documentation of both Kyle’s words and the context behind them.

And yet somehow, you are the witty one? LOL.

        • Source 1 is a mostly factual summary of the Jesse Ventura suit.

Source 2 is an anti war propaganda piece framed against the narrative of American Sniper.

Sorry, I’m not about to fondle the balls of an author whose vitriol is palpable in every sentence. Little advice, if you want to cite sources maybe pick one where the author isn’t foaming at the mouth.

        • Nice try.

Source 1 includes detailed documentation of two of Kyle’s lies: the Katrina SuperDome roof sniper and his killing of two carjackers and subsequent free-pass from the local cops after calling a super secret DoD phone number (i.e. the two lies I mentioned in my original post). You didn’t mention this either through laziness or dishonesty.

Source 2 is an anti-Chris Kyle piece backed by a primary source: Kyle’s own book. Page 79 has the line I referenced in my original post regarding the killing of unarmed civilians. You cite bias while ignoring a primary source.

You really should not be giving tips to anyone. Funny how you admit the veracity of source #1, but then say he was also foaming at the mouth. 🙂

        • Nice try.

I was trying? Dude, any hope you had of getting me to engage in an actual argument went out the window with pwned.

All I can envision now is you getting on team speak and bragging to your leet buddies how you took me to school.

You can have that. Consider it a gift.

        • That’s the point. You tried (and failed). 🙂

Now if you actually have a logical explanation for your ignorance, please post it. And try it without the all this high-ground pretension, it was pathetic from post #1 when you obviously had no idea about Kyle’s lies and war crimes.

      • MDS is a well known troll that has posted and been banned under different names here.

When I think of him, it’s more with pity than any other feeling.

        • Sometimes I just can’t help it. The completely incoherent trolls are sometimes the most fun to poke. Always with a smile on my face.

        • >have no logical response to documented facts
          >calls others trolls to cover your own ignorance
          >poke fun is actually getting blown out

You must have a very warped sense of reality. Much like jwm.

Do you always smile when you get pwned on the internet?

        • Really is kinda sad. I transport people like him every day. He really doesn’t have a clue to how far down the rabbit hole he is.

I truly hope his responsible adult has deweaponed his group home.

        • Ok, that smile? Now hysterical laughter.

Pwned on the Internet. Classic. Only thing that could make this better is a rant about how 1337 you are.

@JWM – classic case of Internet anonymity. It’s a safe place for weak minds to spout off hate they’d never say to someone’s face.

        • @wright

Actually, 2Asux is fairly coherent. I disagree with the vast, VAST majority of his arguments. But at least they are arguments.

I have yet to see mds offer anything more than thinly veiled soldier hate.

        • wright. Sexual tyranasaurus. Blaine cooper. waco biker. good riddence.

Could be willy lunchmeat. Doubt he’s 2asux.

        • Wright. Every time I try to leave a comment listing his other troll names it vanishes. Funny that.

        • “Thinly veiled soldier hate”

By that, do you mean how Chris Kyle’s lies were systematically disassembled and taken apart in court?

Remember, the Kyle estate lost the libel lawsuit.

        • >It’s a safe place for weak minds to spout off hate they’d never say to someone’s face.

Well it’s probably a bad idea to talk honestly to a man who killed unarmed civilians and bragged about it in a book. But interestingly you consider that weakness, whereas Kyle’s war crimes is courageous?

Sort of like your smile/laughter being massive damage control. 🙂

        • Interesting. Perhaps a troll of TTAG itself to generate comments? Such outlandish statements are sure to drive many rebuttals, generating Fruther comments and clicks, therefore revenue. Note it’s responses are quick, and at all times of day. Also, it ONLY comments on articles about the military, and specifically Chris Kyle. It comments quickly too, like it has some sort of system that tells it when TTAG published a military related article. Also, it’s comments are all very similar, if not exact, page to page. If this was a regular troll, I would expect to see it commenting on more articles. I guess we could test this by seeing how long my comment is retained.

        • Dr. If you’re on a disability check because of mental illness, such as our boy here, you’d have all day to cruise the net.

And having no friends or social life it would be your only outlet.

        • “disability check because of mental illness”

Aren’t you on disability from Vietnam? Oh my. 🙂

        • Heh, it’s great when militarists accuse others of collecting disability when veterans teach classes to each other on how to extract maximum benefits from the disability system.

          Soooo much projection ITT.

      • Kyle made those claims himself, the whole thing about the Superdome and Katrina was taken straight from his lips and he never disputed it while he was alive and was reported by a multitude of sources.

So either he murdered US citizens on US soil, or the dude was a pathological lying sack of shit.

Either way, why would anyone want anything associated with this guy?

        • Kyle made those claims himself, the whole thing about the Superdome and Katrina was taken straight from his lips and he never disputed it while he was alive and was reported by a multitude of sources.

For some reason, I take this story with a grain of salt.

        • >For some reason, I take this story with a grain of salt.

Why? Kyle made the claim, the press collaborated it, then Kyle confirmed the claim multiple times. It’s all documented.

      • Unarmed women and children and make-belief looters and carjackers are America’s enemies? Who would’ve thought? 🙂

  3. Springfield’s a little late for the bandwagon, eh? Maybe no one read the book over there until a couple months ago.

  4. A bit rich for my blood.

In any case, if I wish to donate to a cause I generally just write them a check. That way I know exactly how much of the “proceeds” are passed along to said cause.

  5. Um if he used a pistol it would have been an M9, not a 1911. If I had a spare $3K (rounding up) I would by one. However,,,,,,,,,

    • Not necessarily. SEALs, MARSOC, SOF, and others have been known to get Glocks and 1911s issued along with a varying assortment of rifles (DD Mk18, FN SCARs, and a variety of sniper rifles–M40s, Mk21 PSRs, and .50 cal Barretts). It’s usually mission dependent.

  6. Lol, at the anonymous coward here that never risked anything so he can safely criticize the dead from the safety of a computer screen.

    • The irony of calling others cowards for asking hard questions on the internet about people who yap continuously about defending the Constitution (and free speech), thus inferring that physical assault is a true threat in real life.

This confirms soldiers are indeed thin-skinned hypocrites and violent animals with no self-control.

      • In your mind. Remember, only in your mind. It’s important that you remember what’s in your mind may not be reality.

        • “In your mind”

Then feel to explain the rationale behind the cowardice criticism then. If soldiers are indeed mature adults who are capable to explaining their own actions without resorting to violence, then the locale of debate should make no difference.

Speaking of reality, is it confirmed that Chris Kyle’s grasp of reality was fragile at best? 🙂

        • The cowardice criticism is valid. Proven by yourself on more than one occasion. You say that talking to the face of a man that killed civilians and bragged about it in a book isn’t smart. Why? You at a book signing in a mall and you talk bad to him what do you think is going to happen?

In none of my comments do I bring up Kyle. I don’t recall ever bringing him up in any of our ‘discussions”. It’s your grasp on reality that worries me. You claim to hate the .gov but cite court cases from the same .gov as tho they were holy scripture.

I’ve said this in plain english before. Of all our regular trolls here if I was to pick one to nominate for our next adam lanza it would be you. You’re that far gone.

I figure you’re a prohibited person. Likely in a group home or at least in a group setting on a day by day basis. I only hope you are maintained under close supervision.

        • “You at a book signing in a mall and you talk bad to him what do you think is going to happen?”

By “talk bad”, do you mean quoting his own words back at him? Note how you concede the expectation of violence from an unhinged government animal. 🙂

“You claim to hate the .gov but cite court cases from the same .gov as tho they were holy scripture.”

When, where, citation needed, etc. As I recall, you are the one who regurgitates the tired old line about how we need to “support the troops” and “support the police” as a defense against government tyranny, even as they are the literal instruments of said tyranny. Sounds like you’re the one with the cognitive dissonance here.

          “next adam lanza”

Hey now, remember the majority of mass murder committed by Americans is committed by people in government uniforms. My my, all that projection. Can you be more obvious?

        • Wow. Could you twist an honest discussion any more? The jesse ventura/kyle case just upstream. You know, a court case from that same .gov. As for your reply to my adam lanza statement. Throw up a smoke screen and claim mass murder by others but don’t deny my statement.

Thankfully your group home gets most of your ssi money. Kinda hobbles your travel arrangements and your ability to purchase guns.

I concede nothing. I said nothing of the kind. Are you so afraid that simply talking to a man in a public setting causes you to run and hide?

        • “You know, a court case from that same .gov.”

Last time I checked, it was Jesse Ventura vs Chris Kyle (later the Kyle estate), not the US government versus either Ventura or Kyle. So… good one there.

“Throw up a smoke screen and claim mass murder by others but don’t deny my statement.”

Not claim. Statement. Victims of unjust war are deemed murder victims, and the justness of many of the wars fought by the US government in recent years is in doubt (including yours in Vietnam). Don’t call something a smokescreen because you failed to understand the context of the situation.

On the other hand, your gibberish about me being “prohibited” or the next “adam lanza” is exactly that, a smokescreen. Just more projection from you, as usual. 🙂

        • It was a case decided in a court. You know, one of those .gov institutions. As too my comments about your mental well being. I work with folks just like you. I take them to institutions and court dates, etc.

        • You know there’s a difference between government rulings (i.e. the scripture you claim I cite) versus a jury trial, right? Guess which one Ventura vs Kyle was.

I would hesitate to call ignorance a mental illness, but you make a very compelling case study.

        • Jury trial. Can’t be influenced or thrown off? When you go in to the physchiatric court, if you haven’t already, you’ll abide willingly by their rulings, right?

        • Now now, if you are going to allege impropriety in Ventura vs Kyle, at least try to provide some proof. Then again Chris Kyle’s lies and fantasies are pervasive and well-documented so one wonders what your angle here is.

By the way, it is spelled “psychiatric”. And legally, their rulings aren’t considered voluntary. Why do you posit these stupid smokescreen questions? Are you trying to sound smart by quoting a wholly unrelated legal proceeding and trying to tie it to the Kyle slander trial?

        • Unless there’s a private court system the slander trial happened in a .gov building in a .gov court with a .gov judge presiding. And this is ttag, not a court. I don’t have to provide proof any more than you do. I can make any and all allegations I chose, just as you do.

But I’ll be the better man and end this argument now. As I’ve said, I pity you more than any thing else.

        • Good one moving the goalposts. You accuse me of worshiping government scripture because I cited the Ventura vs Kyle trial, but then you ignore the presence of a non-government jury and that the trial is between two private parties.

Then you ludicrously state that my points of Kyle’s lying (which is backed with a wealth of evidence) and war crimes (backed by Kyle’s own word) is comparable to your “allegations” (of what exactly, that is still unclear). You already admitted to knowing absolutely nothing about the Kyle case and his history, and yet you rant on about how I am supposedly wrong on everything regarding the Kyle case.

You are right about one thing, this is TTAG and you can say whatever you want. But then you’d still be wrong about Chris Kyle and many other things. 🙂

        • Well, you seem to know a lot about the physchiatric courts. This is my surprised face.

        • >know a lot

It’s called common knowledge. Or in your case, uncommon ignorance and just awful spelling.

        • Au contraire, the doctors and lawyers involved in the system would be far more familiar with it than the patients, who are merely moving through it. But I wouldn’t expect a short bus driver to understand that.

        • Au contraire, the doctors and lawyers involved in the system would be far more familiar with it than the patients, who are merely moving through it. But I wouldn’t expect a short bus driver such as yourself to understand that.

  7. My parents taught me not to speak I’ll of the dead.

As far as the gun and the auction, I hope they actually spend the money on those in need and not salaries and the like. Way too many charities that out their o an enrichment first.

  8. Can you use this to shoot US citizens from the top of the superdome who present no immediate threat and have been given no due process?

I mean, if we’re paying gobs of money for a gun dedicated to a guy who claimed he did such a thing…it better be good for it.

    /sarcasm.

Why people are infatuated with Chris Kyle is beyond me…dude was a loudmouth asshole who revelled in being seen as some angel of death and it got him killed and lost his estate a major lawsuit.

    • All of which may be true. I’ve never read his book. What i don’t see is the need of folks to come here and pound on a dead guy.

I’ve never donated money to his cause and I doubt anyone here will buy one of those overpriced pistols. So why do people feel they just have to show up here and dog pile on the dead guy?

I understand More Dead soldiers. He’s a nutter.

      • Im bagging on him because this is something being done in his name, and his name has some bad baggage attached that wouldnt be tolerated if there wasnt the element of hero worship from people who are willing to overlook or outright deny his shittyness to play into the “American Sniper” mythos.

People bag on dead people all the time for soing things that earned them derision. If this were about say…Brady (of Brady bill fame…man the comments here when he died were anything but respectful) or Stalin or Nixon or any other dead person, we wouldnt be talking about how mean it is to rag on the dead.

Its also relevant because the Kyle family (both before and after his death) has a history of basically having 0% of funds raised actually go to the cause they are raised for.

  9. Hey! Can I put Chris Kyle’s name on something that only tangentially has anything to do with him, and sell it too? I promise I’ll give most of the profit to charity, I just want in on some of that lucrative dead-patriot money.

Sorry if that offends anyone, but that’s how all this rings to me, of late.

  10. I can actually think of a few former soldiers I actually knew that were much more heroic than Chris Kyle and got zero recognition. More than a few of them were actually somewhat reluctant to talk about their actions and just lived ordinary normal lives after the war.

  11. Here’s a quick suggestion. For those of you that hate Kyle(I really could care less about him) don’t buy the overpriced pistol. Simple. Enough of you boycott the company and this will go away.

As for the trolls amongst us. Reading about a life on the web aint the same as living a life. Get a life. write your own story. It may be educational and fun. Give it a try.

    • If you could not care less about Chris Kyle, why do you get mad when people point out his lies and criminality?

      • Wrong again. Find one statement I’ve ever made defending Kyle. And what criminality did he do? Has he ever been charged, tried or convicted for any wrongdoing? Cause a disturbed troll says its so, don’t make it so.

        • “Has he ever been charged, tried or convicted for any wrongdoing”

Yes, for defamation (posthumously). Not charged since it was a civil suit, but hey, you wouldn’t know the difference.

If you’re going to comment on a Chris Kyle thread, at least know the basic details. It’s not that hard.

        • kinda re-enforces my point about a life. Live a life and you might not have a great deal of experience with an ’emoji” also.

        • Exactly my point, bro. Keyboard commandoes such as yourself know computers. And little else. And since your meds and non employable status will allow you to do this 24-7 those of us with jobs and lives need to quit. For now.

Just know that You have my pity.

        • Sort of ironic that a short bus driver is dissing computer skills. Even if that “skill” involves correctly using two characters to form a crude caricature (and you still failed).

        • The short bus rider, yourself, fails completely to see the point. As is to be expected. See why you have my pity?

The real world is just too much for you. Typical of my passengers.

        • What is your point? All I’ve seen is a bunch of smokescreens in the form of unoriginal accusations to try to hide your ignorance on the topic at hand (i.e. Chris Kyle’s sordid history of lies).

I do find it amusing that you will jump into a thread just to respond to me, even if you know absolutely nothing about the issue. The rage… the desperation, it is strong within you. 🙂

    • I’ll tell you why I’m interested in keeping this gentleman from representing upstanding citizens that did their part in combat. I’m one of them. I find it incredibly frustrating that a confirmed liar is being held up as a good representation of my kind. He is not, and it is a gullible, naïve populace that does it. I’m proud of the fact that I served as a Marine in combat for my country against what I believe is a threat to our way of life. I made it very clear to my squad when we were in country that it is important that if you are told to do something that is outside your moral code it is you who will have a hard time sleeping. Blaming it on orders is a pussy way out of responsibility. You choose to pull the trigger.

I get just as pissed when Kyle is pushed as a representative for the military as I am when Ted Nugent gets pushed as a representative of hunters. They are not an archetype that is representative of your typical person in either of those genres.

      • Valid and fair response, Bobinmi. Just remember that More Dead Soldiers(his chosen handle says a lot) see’s no difference between me, and you or kyle. He actually has compared all American soldiers to the SS.

I will not buy anything with kyles name on it. But then I won’t buy zombie themed stuff, either.

        • I choose to ignore MDS. It does no good to argue with someone that is that much of an ideologue in any direction. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs.

  12. Rage and desperation. Oh the irony. My first response in this thread wasn’t to you. I was just pointing out to others that you’re a well known and obvious troll. Talk about desperation on your part. You can’t let a comment about a soldier go by without attacking. Even though you readily admit you’re too much a coward to say anything to them in person.

apparently Kyle scared you so much when he was alive that you can’t help but kick his corpse. Sad, pathetic little keyboard commando you are. Such desperate fear of a man that’s dead.

The topic at hand, which you completely missed, wasn’t kyle. It was your mental illness. If you for a moment thought this was about kyle you’re much to far gone to make a recovery.

I feel pity for you and your family.

    • Heh. You are so delusional that pointing out court-proven facts about Chris Kyle is now considered “trolling”.

You miss the ironic fact that the entire defamation lawsuit against Kyle was brought about by Kyle’s childish revenge plot against Jesse Ventura, because Ventura said words Kyle disagreed with. So it is a demonstrably bad idea to try to debate Chris Kyle in any capacity, and yet on you rant about “cowardice”. And let’s not forget Kyle bragging about shooting civilians. Civil discourse is for sane people, and Kyle was obviously a wackjob. The courageous thing to do would be to put him down like the rabid animal that he was… and someone did. Wonderful. 🙂

I am amused by your desperate defense of the “honor” of another dumb government animal, but you really picked an especially bad example to defend this time. Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Don’t you ever get tired of having your ignorance exposed?

  13. So much fail. I never once defended kyle. I even suggested that people not buy the product if kyle
    s life offended them.

You’re desperately mentally ill. Obvious. You’re a classic troll. Same and obvious. Oh well. Time to go pick up a cage car full of you’s.

  14. Lots and lots of spin doctors would relish in the thought, that TTAG-readers are squarely adopting anything that comes out of the mouth of a notorious liar. This would be their victory. Making hard-working and straight-thinking Americans aides and abetters to a figure of their creation. Letting strong men succumb to a queer picture.
Kyle wrote stories which were needed in a way to sway the public opinion. When on this publicity stunt Kyle most probably got carried away by a dream of nonsensical, nonexisting invincinity from values, like sincerity in an account of his deeds. Having such friends Kyle then had, has contributed to the success he achieved with the book, which I won’t call his book, because it was obviously inaccurate and to an extent unrelated at all to his life. Now, it has been confirmed in the court of law that he told many an inacurate story, to say the least.

I’d never engage the person Kyle. He had his life the way he wanted to. Yet the picture being projected straightforwardly into our brains deserves a second thought, or maybe the first one. Is it really a hero who precisely mirrors many a lie of the official propaganda? Or is he just that, a mere picture of the collective mind of washingtonian war-time spin doctors, all of them acting against civil society, for yet more warmongering and civil suffering? Think the chain of command which led to Ruby Range shooting. A sniper in action, ain’t it? We know how proud this Lon Horiuchi was. This pride, this arrogance, this commitment. You see a pattern here.

Everyone answers the two questions for himself.

  15. (corrected) Lots and lots of spin doctors would relish in the thought, that TTAG – readers are squarely adopting anything that comes out of the mouth of a notorious liar. This would be their big victory. Making hard-working and straight-thinking Americans aides and abetters to a figure of their creation. I gather they would relish in letting strong, straight-shooting men succumb to a queer, spin-doctored picture, projected on the wall.

Kyle wrote stories which were direly needed then. He wrote the stories in a way to sway the public opinion far and fast. When on this publicity stunt Kyle most probably got carried away by a wet dream of nonsensical, non-existing invincibility from values, like sincerity in an account of his deeds. Having friends in high positions Kyle then had, has contributed to the success he achieved with the book, which I won’t call his book, because it was obviously inaccurate and to an extent unrelated at all to his life. Now, it has been confirmed in the court of law that he told many an inaccurate story, to say the least.

Think the chain of command which led to Ruby Range shooting. A sniper in action, ain’t it? We know how proud this Lon Horiuchi was. This pride, this arrogance, this commitment of a sniper. You see a pattern here.

  16. Kyle was a low life depraved scum bag that boasted in interviews he loved killing and had no remorse whatsoever. Rolling Stone Magazine reported that he got into a 3 way race with two other snipers and they were all killing women and children just to up their score to win the race. Many were going about their everyday business when mercilessly gunned down. Its ironic the scum bag died by a bullet. What comes around goes around they say.

In Vietnam most normal sane soldiers believed you had no choice to kill when someone was shooting at you but to go out and cold bloodedly kill people who happened to be writing letters home to their parents or eating or going to the bath room or in one notorious case taking a bath in a river with your girlfriend proved that snipers were mentally ill cold blooded killers who lived to do only one thing, kill people in cold blood.

In WWI Snipers were loathed and hated as they often brought down artillery fire killing many of their own soldiers who otherwise would have lived. After the war sniping was considered so vile that the weapons were mothballed and no further training was given.

Sniping often had little or no effect on wining a war either because generals often were miles behind the combat zone and it was only ordinary solders who were gunned down and not in enough numbers to change how a coming battle would be won. Sniping during a battle of course was acceptable but between battles it only proved the depravity of mankind.

I do not think they will sell many of these weapons purely because of the price and surprisingly because of the name on the gun. There is just too much known about this loathsome monster and pathological liar that makes normal people cringe at the mention of his name let alone buy a weapon with his name on it even it they tried to give it away for free.

  17. Awesome! This will be the perfect weapon for killing women and children defending their homes from another American invasion!
