a workmate of mine has had one since the mid eighties. when i first met him back then i teased him for having a kids watch with a super hero on it. he explained what the ironman competition was. pretty sure they still make that he man version.
nowadays i would seek out a nice kids watch. i have a charlie tuna quartz, and a snausages watch with sweep second hand dog treats.

Isn’t a 19 a little big for the pocket? Still, you’re right, great pistol. Geoff you’re right too. Own several Spydercos. Carry one every day. Used them for everything from cleaning my fingernails to cutting seatbelts to extract crash victims from vehicles.

When am I going to be able to quit telling you people about Field Notes? They were designed by Aaron Draplin, a man who actively and proudly bashes gun owners. I’ve seen this first hand at one of his presentations in 2015. It angered me listening to this guy smear us. What’s worse is to see so many gun owners proudly support him. Please people, quit giving your money to a man who thinks you’re a mouth-breathing warmonger. There are better alternatives to Field Notes as long as you’re OK not looking like a hipster.

I don’t see pepper spray. You should have something for defense against attacks that aren’t serious enough to justify lethal force. They are far more common than attacks that justify use of a gun. Save your knife for peaceful tasks. When used for defense, it’s less effective than a gun but still qualifies as lethal force.
I am actually more afraid of a knife than a firearm. Except, maybe a centerfire rifle loaded with soft point ammo. Ever seen a man disembowled? I have. Twice. Slice someone just above the belt line. If you’re serious his intestines will fall on top of their shoes. Used pepper spray many times. Okay to break up a bar fight. Other than that? Forget it.
A woman I know was explicitly expounding on her pepper spray. I told her it wouldn’t stop a determined attacker. To prove my point I took it from her, sprayed it directly into my eyes, a good blast, then wrapped my hands around her neck. ” Wow ” she says, ” but your not normal , but it would work on a regular guy .” ??? OhhhhKay, whatever

I got to thinking about that less then lethal, you know a steel framed pistol whacked upside the head would hurt,

Then just cut them a little rather than stabbing them or cutting them a lot.
I don’t understand why people don’t carry less than lethal options in addition to their firearms. Not every bad encounter requires a deadly weapon response.

I think the 19 is way to big for pocket carry. It’s a full size gun. The Khar cm9 or pm9 would be my choice…espicially with those trijicon noght sights! 🙂

Simplicity and functionality, that’d be a double action revolver, you don’t even have to rack a slide. And what do car keys have to do with a pocket dump? maybe scratch their eyes out or something, or am I supposed to buy the designer key chain also. Pocket dump, the guy carry’s a wristwatch in his pocket? Then it’s a wristband pocket watch , who needs that? The knife is cool
